Hi! :)
I used always 64Gb cards till now. Now i would like to try a bigger one.
Does Macboot work on a 128Gb Card? Are there other app to make the card bootableon MAC? (sometimes Macboot doesn't work fine and i have to re-format many times - Maybe and old version? :o)

Thanks for help and kind regards from Italy.

Raw Video / MLV video & Raw magic
« on: June 22, 2014, 09:11:37 PM »
Hi guys, i'm having some troubles converting MLV video files. I bought Rawmagic from the app store.

-MLV files are about 4gb (1 minute couse i prefer don't merge),

when i convert them into dng frames, Rawmagic find a missing frame and make a shorter conversion and a limited number of frames.

everytime i convert the frames into a .mov file with after effects the movie is sorter than the one I shooted.

I tried many times and nothing change... In Rawmagic there are no menus to force conversion..
I'm worried, I can't afford to loose so much work..

Please help.. :'(

Raw Video / Re: Current raw video capabilities - All ML cameras
« on: May 03, 2014, 07:50:42 PM »
Hey, I thought I would put together a quick comparison of where things are currently at with raw video for each camera type, and what the comparative upsides/downsides/limitations/strengths/etc of each are.

I've listed them top to bottom, of which to my understanding are currently the best options.

Here's a google docs version that you can edit:

Apparently raw video works good for 7D..

what about short battery life and processor's heating...
ML is a wonderful firmware but i'll install it mostly for raw video...so what you suggest me?

I'll use a lexmark professional 1066x, is ok for continuos raw recording?

So you're suggesting i don't need a to make a bootable card anymore?
The don't talk about bootable cards there... It seems easier...

Hi mates,
Time for a noob question:
I'm preparing to install ML on my canon 7D.

1-Downgrade to 2.0.3
2-Download a Nightli builds from the ML website and follow the guide.....but.....

:-\ Where can I find the last guide for my 7D to make a bootable card and install ML from Mac?

Any suggestions?

Grazie,
Ciao!

Hello,
i joined this forum cuz I'm preparing to install ML on my 7D. What about a dedicated forum?
Essentially I do this for raw recoding for color grading in post.
I spent days trying to unerstand which is the best solution and I had no clue.

I know that I have to begin from the Canon 2.03 firmware. Found.
I'm doing it on Mac.

How is working the last version? Is ok with Raw recording?
I use my camera for work so i can't get stucked.

Keep me updated.
Thanks for help.
