how is 4K RAW continuous recording so far? is it achieved?

Here's my first 3072x1320 24 fps recording:

so with 14-bit lossless 3K i am seeing about 6.5 minutes of record time on a 64GB CF card... does this seem accurate?  also what is a recommended Aspect Ratio?

Wish the 5D Mark IV had a Global Shudder a la their brand new CMOS Sensor :

I came to the realization that the general Internet Infrastructure isn't really up to par for 4K streaming, and barely 1080p even.  Most smart phones / cellular networks aren't going to be doing 4K.  My only interest in Full Frame 4K 14-bit Uncompressed RAW video is the advantage of possible image quality after down sampling to 1080p.   I don't see many real viable delivery methods to the mass public where even 1080p streaming over a smart phone with our current internet infrastructure is unrealistic unless on Wi-Fi.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't the RED cameras at 4K a 1.73x CROP aka Super 35mm?  I checked out this tool, and it seems that the Canon 5D Mark IV 1.73x Crop is going to be the same as what a RED Camera is at 4K ... aka Super 35mm ...

Is this true, no chance currently for non-CROP 1.73x 4K?

"Based on their current understanding and implementation of RAW video, they can only crop in to a smaller area, not expanding the imaging area." :

Wonder if ML would be able to do the 4K RAW without crop or am i misunderstanding that possibility?

I really hope that Magic Lantern RAW video support is possible on the 5D Mark IV for 4K recording!~

Would we notice a benefit to the 14-bit RAW Uncompressed video from Magic Lantern if we removed our Optical Low Pass Filters?   Would this end up being an additional improvement at all?

I hope that someday soon they will implement a way for this to work with modern builds of ML ...  I have found the source code for generating beeps, but am investigating using Virtualbox setup to modify and compile ML and also QEMU to test my modifications...

I've started looking at the source code for mlv_snd

https://bitbucket.org/hudson/magic-lantern/src/3efd69b63b955619246b4c0c7095e2c234522ffa/modules/mlv_snd/mlv_snd.c?at=unified

, and I am considering attempting to implement sending a beep tone inside of mlv_snd_start()  and also stop it inside of the function mlv_snd_stop()

... still looking for the source code for the beep though...

Is there a way to get mlv_rec / mlv_snd to work with auto start and stop of the Zoom H6?  I too tried the smpte.mo and with mlv_rec it just starts, and doesn't stop when mlv_rec stops...

no problems with the Feb 18th build, but sometime after it all the way til current there is a problem with recording beyond 8:13 continuously as far as i can tell
#20
I have noticed that sometime after the Feb 18th 2014 Nightly builds that I can't seem to continuously record for longer than 8:13 exactly across three separate CF cards.  1x 64GB Lexar 1000x, and 2x 64GB Lexar 1066x cards.  I am using the mlv_rec, and mlv_snd modules along with the ETTR one.  My camera is the 5D3 and i'm only doing 1080p 24fps.  I've been sticking with the Feb 18th nightly for now, but was wondering if anyone else had this problem of newer builds stopping at exactly 8:!3?
#21
Looking forward to seeing it

i only payed attention to the 3584x :P  darn!  so 2.5K (2432 x 1366) work's continuously?
#24
so with the SanDisk Extreme Pro 64 GB 160MB/s it is possible to continuously record 3.5K til the CF card fills up?
#25
is this 14-bit RAW Uncompressed recording debayered?  i heard it's 14-bit RGGB with no debayering involved?
