Hey Guys!

is there a special way to convert the CR2s?

I'm not sure if somebody mentioned to use the cr2hdrConverter + some extra software to get better colors etc..

Could the problems be solved?

Hey Gyus,

Quick Question is it possible to downgrade from 1.2.3 to 1.1.3?
#7
Hey James,

would come the opportunity to change whitebalance? And do other stuff like you can do with the red footage in Pr? or with ACR.. like adjust darks, lights, shadows and more..
change LUT, Gama and so on??
I mean its RAW and people who shoot RAW wanna do thees things

when this and everything else works and everything this is still up to date, I will really pay 99 Dollars.

Hey,

How is it possible to grade DNGs in AdobeCameraRAW (maybe andust the highlights and shadows)
and then go with this settings in Resolve 10 Lite?
#9
@marekk: Yea, that would be great and perfect for the Workflow!

Of course. Or full res!

Thank you so much A1ex!!

Create clean cDNG´s from MLV would be so great! Cant wait!
#12
Year great work Tony,

but i think its better to ad a cDNG output to this nice tool. No idea when adobe pr supports DNGs for a sequence.

ProRes is nice but only with cDNG´s you have still the full 14 bit. Or is there any other codec?

That will be a big difference.

What camera do you use?

What OS?

What kind of GPU do you have?

5D III

Win7 64

Phantom 770GTX 2GB

about .. the issue with the bad pixels in shadows and after longer render in more areas.

not with log and only after rendering with proRes.

Thanks for the great work !!!

Hey Guys,

at first thanks to the mlv create directory option.

I have since vers. 1.1.4 strange things with the Prores Codec.

with 1.1.3 fine   with 1.1.5 fine with dng

but 1.1.4 and 1.1.5 ProRes green, blue and some red dots in the shadows.

longer rendertime - more blue also in the midtones.

strange for me.

Hey guys,

Every time before I use the MLV files, I put every shot (with multiple) files in an extra folder.

for easier post. and clarity.

5D3 can natively create folders so I think this is possible.

For me and I think for many others this will make things easier. especially with the mlrawviewer.
when I have every folder i export ProRes and can start cutting. everything is neatly and I dont have to move ervery file agian.

Thank you for the possibility to request and for your unbelievable work!!

Good Question!

Has anybody experience with the durability of the KumpterBay 128 1050x ??
#20
Yes..
I have a SanDisk 256 GB 160 MB/s too.. I tested it just shortly, because my own 5DIII will be delivered next week, but about speed there is no advantage to a KB 1000x 64. And my friend´s KB 128GB 1050x have a faster speed than the SanDisk 256 GB 160 MB/s. -.-

Question is: What cards fail iven if u use a UMDA7 3.0 cardreader...

I have been using the 64gb 1000x KB card and the 1050 128gb KB card since may with no issues. The only thing i notice is with the start up time of the 5d3. the 5d3 takes a lil longer to start up with the 128 card in then the 64 card.

Since may RAW recording with no issues sounds good.

Had someone problems with the KB 1050x 128GB, although using a UMDA 7 3.0 cardreader?

Thank you man!  :)

There is an exponential increase in price that was left out from the above post. By the time you reach the maximum 256 GB the price becomes astronomical, so choose wisely. I don't think anyone else makes a card of that size, and although any card can fail, Sandisk is as good as it gets.

I'm not sure what you mean. My post rises the price? Really? - Sorry for that dumpy question?

For me the Question is when drop the price..

The newest Sandisk Extreme Pro UDMA7 160MB/s VPG65 CF cards are great for raw video. I tested 64GB, 128GB and 256GB and finally decided to purchase 256GB which is absolutely reliable with my 5dMK3.
And even older Sandisk Extreme Pro UDMA7 100MB/s VPG20 handles continues 24fps 1080p raw video well. Make sure that you don't mix it with older Sandisk Extreme Pro 90MB/s UMDA6 that wasn't capable to hold recording speed above 83MB/s but rather stood around 75MB/s.

Hm.. 256GB sounds cool.

I maybe decided to purchase to. How many times have you use the card until yet? Often?

Maybee you can warn me If Something goes wrong with you card. :)
