Another frame grab using the March 5th build.  I think I'm going to stick with this one for a while.  Sunset shots in RAW are ridiculous.  It's too bad I have to stretch it from 1280x514 though.  A little noticeable with the high noise in ISO 1250.

what lens did u use?

what lens did u use? great raw footage

I was thinking completely getting rid of the digic  processor and the buffer memory with a miniITX PC running i7 and that would either directly control the sensor and the lens system or emulate the canon motherboard hardware completely.

This will require an interface for the PC to work with the canon hardware and it can be canon firmware free (which justifies the earlier name canon mark free XD).And all this to record on high frames rates on RAID SSDs.

And I suppose you still aim to build this camera with magic

why stop there
 1% why can i have 4k 3d

this guy already is running 16K

everyone right. I think you have to read for at least 1 month or more. Yes there a lot of reading but well worth it when you finally understand ML. Heck it took my about 1 year to have the nerve and install ML on my Canon 7D ( Now its a piece of cake its  just like when you root your android after you learn then  you keep install latest build )The biggest worry i had if i fuck up and brick my 7D my wife would kill me because $1500.00 down the drain. everyone please read. ML is not a Toy nor should it be.

ok since installing ml to my 7D. I keep finding myself addicted  to ML forum waiting for each new build for my 7D. Hell  one day  off from work instead of relaxing and playing BF3 I spend 6 hours just reading  everything on ML forum. I'm I the only. Shit with BF4 coming out its so difficult to spear my free time. Damn you time. I need a time machine. For more time

Wait what?? 1% you are able to record at 1728x1152  at 1x with setting set to jpeg. When did this happen. Or I'm I missing something. I read this thread everyday. Explain yourself is it in the latest tl build

I would get mark3 because canon at least has great support for there cameras Sony in other hand just cranks out product after product. What I mean I. Support u have a people with canon DSLR you give them a call and they are happy to help. Hell when I need my camera for a cleanup I just drive to Irvine ca. Drop it off 3 days later pick it up and everything is great.

Off topic but please lets not have TL and ML get into a big old mess. I don't want to see a focal vs CyanogenMod drama to happen here  ;D

I've looked at pocket camera on my next purchase. But have they updated so it has lossless Dng support? If not sorry I won't but it other codec is terrible I can't go back from raw. Raw is just clean. I'll just buy another 7d
