If you're interested in wide angle glass I just purchased a 24mm f1.8 Sigma. It's not the widest, but the extra couple stops do wonders for astrophotography. Hope that helps

I don't know guys, I think that the character development was a little lacking.

Look at my screenshot again, and make note of the exposure adjustments.
Ah, I see. Thank you for resolving this!

Quite clearly this is my issue and I am doing something wrong. Here I have a screen capture video (highly compressed, but you get the idea) Showing exactly what I do. Any issues you see (PS. it may seem different, but I dropped the image from the SD card, to the folder onto Cr2HDR.)
Thanks again guys

Sorry about the crappy quality

I just used the non-plug in Cr2Hdr found www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=8738.0 and I still am not achieving your results A1ex. I see you used your automatic colorgrading script as well, but did you use a different Cr2Hdr than I did?

Here is what my problem is. I lose the shadow recovery.

When I tried to convert the Dual ISO file the shadows were lost. Would you like me to upload 0762?
#9
Ok, I pulled this directly off of the SD card. Hopefully this is it. Thank you for your help

Edit: Is Upload.ee changing the format to Tiff?

All i did was change the WB. I will upload one and post it after reading metadata from file.

Can you provide a link to the Dual ISO file (= Out of cam)?
Done

Hey, it seems that this plug in isn't recognizing my shadow recover ISO. I believe it was 800 in this image.

I also have an image that is just at ISO 100 and the same shot. It matches the processed one almost perfectly.
Edit: Running v2.1
Here's the image in original form

If you put water into a Coke bottle or if you put water into a Pepsi bottle, it's still water inside.
The one in coke is still better. It's science ;)

General Help Q&A / Re: Corrupted Card

Chris-
Thanks but for some reason we've been shooting off of SD cards. Probably price. I've been using a Sandisk extreme pro and my (very new and fast) laptop couldn't recognize it saying it needed to be formatted. I ran a card recovery sysyem and it said there was nothing on the disk so I am guessing it is gone for good. Thank you for your reply!

General Help Q&A / Re: Corrupted Card

Update: I have full confidence in the ML team and am extremely grateful. However, certain people on this production are not, and are "non-believers." Could someone please explain why this is not ML's fault even though I know full well it is not? That would be greatly appreciated.

General Help Q&A / Corrupted Card
May 03, 2014, 06:40:12 PM
Hello, I am on a 5d mk iii running ML and had a couple hours of footage on my SD card. Now, putting it back into my camera I can not read the card, nor can I read it on my computer. I'm guessing this isn't ML related but some advice could save my ass.
Thanks,
Painya

Thank you so much! You just saved me a couple hundred bucks!

Just so you know, ISO 4000 is just a digitally manipulated 3200. So the RAW footage is actually in ISO 3200. Your next option would be 6400. A list of "real" ISO's is -100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200, 6400

I have a ton of footage for a movie I'm shooting and there is horrible flickering when we shoot indoors (we Didn't have kino flos or enough light to keep everything lit). If I export these as Tiff's and use this script will that work or at least help?

Can't you just change the WB in Premier?

Bravo! Nice move! Playing .mlv with vlc sounds cool, can't wait.
Nope it doesn't mean that, we all are considered a little group of hackers by Canon and Adobe, there will be no support for mlv in Adobe's softwares, except from 3th party plugin maker maybe. If one day they do support .mlv I'll give away my 5DIII!
My only hope is better Cdng support for Premiere & Speedgrade in the next update.
Makes sense, I'd love to see an ffmpeg powered plug in.

What Rez did you use?
