The ginger hdr plugin is freaking awesome, allows you to edit your RAW files directly in premeiere.  I would lose alot of color space when using raw2dng as well as the weird white balance issues.

Figured it out. It's because I'm using the RAW2DNG app.  They have an auto balance feature. I tried the GINGER HDR plugin and now I can edit RAW in premiere! Amazing!  the issue is not an issue any more :)
