Hi there,

I tried to open a .RAW file with both versions 1.3.3 and 1.4.2 and the program closes immediately.  Checked the log file, it reads:

WindowsError: exception: access violation reading 0x00000008

I have an EOS-M with the lates nightly build, and tried it on my rather old Dell laptop Core Duo with Win 7.

Does anyone know what the problem might be? The program sounds awesome and I'd really like to give it a try. Sorry if I'm not posting this where I should, it seams like the proper place.

QuoteThats how it works.

So there's no other way to adjust frame rate except FPS override in non-crop mode? But doesn't it disable audio? It's so weird that I only now notice it...

Ok, a few days ago I noticed something weird with my TL. If I don't use fps override my non-crop mode video always shows 29.9, but if I use crop-mode, it shows whatever I selected through the Canon menu. I don't remember this being a problem before and I'm not sure if TL is switching the fps,but not showing it correctly, or just ignoring the Canon menu in non-crop mode. I didn't find this mentioned in the forum before, sorry if it was and I missed it.

Hi there! I'm new to the forum, and want to thank you all for your hard work.

I have a problem that I hope you can help with. I recently bought an EOS-M and couldn't wait to put ML on it. It downloaded fine and everything seems to work fine, except when I try to  shoot RAW video. It seems to start shooting, then after a second the camera restarts, without saving any files. It happens in crop mode as well. I'm using Transcent 32GB SDHC class 10 card and I tested with 1408x362 resolution at 2.35:1 ratio. Sorry if this problem has been resolved before, the topic is 89 pages long now and my search found nothing.

Hi everyone.
I've been following this thread for some time and am currently saving money for a 50D. I've had an idea for a while and would like to hear what you all think. Since crop mode outputs a higher resolution and is free of moire and aliasing, how about using some old c-mount lenses that would not otherwise cover the sensor? Like cheap cctv lenses or old 16mm camera glass? Wouldn't this be cheaper than buying a super-wide lens that will be cropped, in case you'd like to have something wider than tele or standard range? This way only the part that isn't covering the sensor will get cropped anyway. Of course it will varry from lens to lens, but do you think it could give good results? Would there be problems with focus because of c-mount to EOS adapters or any other problems you think might occur?
