Guys why does my live view image freezes once i start recording RAW ??

match the h.264 compression settings inside of encoding software on a computer and compress the raw footage there and compare the resulting file with the compressed image taken from the camera. If that makes sense?

I am planning on doing that actually.
now about the crashes i was having, i had a few that were err 70, and a few that i didnt pay attention but i have all the logs tho'.

but the weirdest thing right now is that the image in LV freezes when i hit the Rec button. It happens only when recording RAW, and it returns to normal after i stopped the recording or the recording has ended.

Thanks i was dropping the module folder unto the root
pretty nice results with a sandisk extreme 45mb card,, getting all the good stuff of raw video
during recording it does 38-39mb\s

when i just replace the autoexec.bin and module folder to the newest build, i cant find the start stop recording for RAW.. and i cant find anywhere where you could choose a lower resolution..

They should be there, just pick different aspect ratios. 30MB is about what I get.

cool, thanks. i find that if i set frame skip = 2, instead of 1, it start recording without stopping at 1920x480

im getting 30mb/s from my card, ill need to check out with a different ML build for the lower resolutions

At what resolution/framerate etc? Continuous recording is only at lower resolutions.

im recording at at 1920x962, i get 75 frames if i go 720.
when the raw video starts recording it says:
Allocating memory
Allocated 152 MiB
and it creates this ~150mb raw file..

i get only 60 frames of RAW with 45mb/s 32gb sd, i guess i gotta get the 95mb/s card for little more frames, or could a fast card like 95mb/s record without stoping?

and one more question, how do i allocate more then 152mb for the raw video file?
