Camera-specific Development / Re: Canon EOS R / RP

It would be absolutely incredible ML came to the RP. It'd be a game changer in terms of price / performance for a full frame. They seem very protective of their cinema line though.

Too bad you can't fork the firmware and charge money for it without running into issues

For some reason the video is looking super orange. Was that intentional or is your monitor in need of calibration?
Otherwise it's a fun - lighthearted video with lots of "funk" to it :)

FYI: I don't speak spanish, so this has nothing to do with the words or how they might relate to the story, but I thought from purely an asthetic standpoint it was pretty solid.
It had lots of motion and camera movement while still being being stable. The color grading matched the mood of the action and was done very professionally.
Everything seemed to connect and I never really fealt confused (which can happen in some music videos).

Overall - really good job!

That's a cool piece to have and remember the trip with! Definitely has the motion blur that makes me feel like I have been there for a long day with the kids :P

I shot this film with Magic Lantern on the T3i and 5d2. I used it primarily for checking focus with the Zebras and 1/1 zoom box while shooting to hold focus. Let me know what you think I could improve on and feel free to leave a link to your wedding film if you've got an example of your critique.

Hi. I wanted drops to be there. In fact they are on the Cokin filter. Anyway everything was wet (it rained additionally).
Equippment is EOS 600D + Sigma 10-20 mounted on custom-built motorized slider via super clamp and Manfrotto magic arm.

Sweet motorized slider setup! Do you have any details about your build? Looks pretty sweet. And if you're willing to take it hear water, I'd assume it's pretty well made :)

I've been looking at adding a motorized setup to my Cinevate Atlas 10 without buying their $1000+ setup :P

Wow! So sharp and vibrant! The way it pops off of the black and yet has direction to the light is amazing.

I'm not a huge fan of the over-the-top HDR images, but I really liked the first 4. Particularly the 4th really caught my eye in how the perspective and leading lines draw you into the frame while the sky seems to exist in it's own dimension above the city. The flair also adds a bit of "reality" to it as if you're actually there.
Great image

It looks like it's raining stars at night!
I really like the way you framed the sky between the mountains and the water/resort lights lead your eyes back up into the frame in how the roofs are pointed.
Great image!

not gonna lie, I don't like spiders. So they're kinda disgusting... But they look sharp and like there is a lot of detail :)

For still being in a trial and error stage I think it looked pretty darn nice. Lots of details in the highlights and shadows, nice job!

Interesting! I've never looked at Christmas in terms of light/shadow and all black/white.

It's so cool watching an entire room be built! Even though it was just for an event, it's incredibly impressive how much work goes into it.

How many images did that take?

Wow! Vibrant colors and so much eye candy :)

It's always surprising how well these cameras do in low light.
Your video really made me want to go grab some food! Seriously, the street scenes and all the action made everything look so fun and attractive, it makes me want to party. :)
Nice job

That's some wicked slo-mo! I need to check out Twixtor. Did you just buy it through their website?

Definitely had a high production value feel to it. From the starting introduction, color grading, to wide cinematic crop, to the music. Regarding the actual words and speaking... I only speak english but it sounded good :)

So for the sky alone there's no need for HDR. The difference between your two photographs is obviously not in the sky, but in the ground: without HDR it's a black silhouette. (Which is nice, too)
Great point!

I've never done the light/star trails but your images definitely make me want to try it out sometime!

Are those wild birds? They're ginormous!

It's always cool looking at other cities - especially when I'm not in the only city that is in the middle of winter! My favorite shot was probably the ending with the sailboat  :)

Wow! Way cool animations and 3d like tracking lines of the temp etc. I wish my weather channel did this every day :)

Wowzers! That'd be a lot more work not having any reference audio to synchronize from! I shot a dance competition and forgot to turn on a camera mic for the first few songs and that SUCKED! Let along having tons of little clips for a music video like this :)
What did you use for color grading?
