i like some how those shoots..but

all have typical almost over in center of face.

there is a icing what is used in TV companys..peoples cover face with it to avoid over exposures on face and it not reflecting light..
its used by TOP professionals !

no !!!!
this is only matter of White Ballance or few clicks with histogram and RGB colors !

if u still have Raw file do this according first photo !

take grens down ! dont play with color changing cus this is NOT the way here !

its matter of White Balance nothink more !
u can also do same on Jpg file ;)

like a tip do this always u have new location for photo !

find plain white object.. turnon Live view in camera and play with kelvins !
Click kelvins up or down  till u get white object White..but remember to do this with OUT over exposure cus u will always get white 255
there is some use full tool in Magic LAntern what mesuring colors ..so u can use it t oget realy accurate one :)
try not use Auto white balance cus it scks :)  but if u really need.. later in editing software just use histogram and is done :)

forgot about 6mb/s or even 45mb/s  memory card if u rec videos !

get 95 mb/s and video will go well
#10
actualy Canon Dslr can do that ;) ..

but not while recording..

why dont u use M mode and magnify function x5 or x 10  and after this set focus what u need and go back to Video mode and start recording with focus ready ?!

only think i will like to know is how to use ALL servro in Video mode and if this is possible ?!

standard auto focusin on my lens ( 75-300 4.1-5-.6 no is ) is not enought fast and it make back focus for take focus and it take few seconds and make alot lens moving..

with ALSERVO this will be purre master full !
imagine auto focusing  same as on M mode and ALSERVO  but in Video mode !

Never encountered any hot/dead pixels so far. I guess that's one benefit of using ACR since it automatically removes them for photos (so that would also apply for image sequences).

Regarding noise reduction, I use Neat Video in Premiere (before exporting the master), and then add a bit of grain through FilmConvert to add some texture.

all cameras got them...no mater new or dont..u just need to take them out..but those nasty dots are eazy to eliminate..

I recently switched my workflow from After Effects(ACR) to Davinci Resolve 10.  The speed of rendering proxies and the ability to relink and grade the Raw files in Resolve is so much more practical and powerful. What is your preference and why?
u have Canon Dslr ? u must have DPP ..and turst me ..u dont need nothink more for edit RAW file to tiff or jpeg..but ofc u can convert file thousend times if u like

in last year i edited around  12.000 files with DPP ( not including Time lapses )...program is eazy and  there is no problem with editing 100 RAW files in same moment....u can learn basics and later u can jump to PS and realize how eazy is PS ..

Shutter speed is that 1/30, the shutter is opening for one 30th of a second.

i think in Video mode shutter is opened all the time..and it not click 30 times per second like u describe..only recording 30 frames per second

General Chat / Re: Comet PanSTARRS visible NOW !!
April 05, 2013, 03:15:43 PM
ok i got it..my shot are muche less impresive than yours but after long time in searching object what i was knew where is lol i found it :D ..
Comet on shots  is very small . Hard to believe how long it taked me to find comet with 300mm but only blind luck is responsible for  taken shot with 300mm what looks crapy :/  (second link ) ..
After shot comet was visible in some 8% (on photo ) .. so i was need to check all shots i taken in night for check if i catch comet on some shot..there was few :) .. but extream low visible.. so i litttle tune it up but results not make me  happy.. its optimal results from dis i get that night.

75mm:  http://www.flickr.com/photos/90671057@N02/8622071946/in/photostream/lightbox/    <-- very low quality but better  little than 300mm shot

300mm :   http://www.flickr.com/photos/90671057@N02/8622093046/in/photostream/lightbox/       <-- very low quality  :S

sticking  two footage in one peace ? realy ?.. comeone .. CTRL +c  CTRL +v  CTRL + s.. in any software u like what can do soem  video editing stuff..

processing word its like with producer word...sometimes overused... just glue it dude in sony vegas ..

Of course that would be the optimal solution, but I don't expect them to do it. May be it is not even possible for them it the metadata is encrypted in the raw (I don't know it it is).

May be it is easier if you have access to Canon's internals in the firmware, but I don't know if it is easy or even possible.

But it would be of great help to make Canon's functions of dust removal and dead/hot pixels elimination usefull to people who don't use Canon DPP.

i use DPP and i must say i used  stamp tool there ( its same stuf u used ? ) and when new window  coming up its eazy to remove hot pixels with this but  changes never saved on  main photo :DD . changes are visible only in Stamp edit  window but when i done with dis  red mad pixels are in same place what before.. with PS removiing  [ pixels  is  muche more eazy .. alsow  auto sensor cleaning in  my T3i i fell like is more for show not for do job..

Its common for astrophotographers to remove one of the IR filters on DSLRs to improve the red sensitivity of cameras (and / or add light pollution rejection filters). This however gives normal daylight images a colour cast. Using CWB can overcome this for one lighting type but not all without re-doing the CWB. The standard "white balance correction" feature could help here however this does can not correct colour enough.

Would it be possible to either extend the range of white balance correction and / or have an automatic white balance correction feature? I envisage the automatic system being similar to CWB, if you take a picture of a white card with white balance set to automatic the software could then use the actual colour cast in the picture to correct the colour and apply this to all "standard" colour balance settings.

James

hi James...

sry for  asking a question  after your question.. maybe u know if there i possible to buy pollution filter what can be connected in regular way  ? what i mean by regular way...? just connect it  to lens.. or adding pollution filter its always matter of modifited  filter on sensor ?..
i was try to find pollution filter but none succes..i mean 58 mm pollution filter..
and second question maybe u heard about hydrogen aplha filters for  digital cameras ? some thing  what ca nbe connected to lenss ..?

maybe u have some links to vids how to remove IR filter  ? maybe pm ? THX

Betelgeuza,

2. What you think looks like panstarr comet is a new moon

:D no no .. i dont mean Moon..i mean all stars  looks like small commets  with  tail on end..i things is still ok ..its in some point ART so can be whatever maker wish.. but.. i dont mean PanStaRR.. by saying (  damn clouds and pan starr ) i was little jump out of subject.. and that was accoording to Real comet what i trying to shot but Clouds again and agian..hiding all Sky... so that was on margin .

why dont u try  regular old like astrophotography way of making star trails ? open shuter 1 hour or more..analog camera making beautyfull shots with just one frame all stars got  grate real colours and trails are like magical lines of light..( ilove stars trails of Sirius , that three stars light making grate clours )..shots of stars trails.. im not sure if i can ( becauze its out of subject in some point )but i can search for my old star trails shot (( what i not promise i find ) what i done with  one frame ..so if Analog can do it Digital can it to.. why game in  time lapse and procesing  900 shots ? when u can all do done by one Shot..dont  take me bad its just option
