+100! FPS Override, HDR options... FOR WHAT purposes? Only for experiments and for enthuziasts.

Kelvin WB, zebra, cropmarks, some sound features and maybe some features for timelapses -  that turns DSLR brick to real video camera and all i need for real shooting.
IMHO)))

Awesome will you develop this for us on your free time and give it away for free?

If not then be quiet as you got no idea whats easy to implent and whats hard!

Stop expecting something from a team that do this for FREE and on their FREE TIME and ask NOTHING in return!

They said exposure and such needed props which is usually available in the beta!

Simply trying to see if anyone could reproduce the issue. If anyone can reproduce, it's a firmware bug. If not, my camera is defective. I will make a short video of the issue and post a link, but I will try and not flood this thread with the issue. Just wanted to see if all my fellow advanced tweakers have experienced this or not :)

Dont worry as i said i have the same isue with the nikon lens but my kit lens is working fine! So either its just that nikon lenses are not made for canon cameras (Capten obvious) or we both gotten ourself defective cameras! At least we are not alone! :D

This is the result of using nikon lenses with an adapter. Im having the same issue with vanilla 650D. My workaround is just not using liveview when taking photos with that lens!

Btw its a samyang 8mm fisheye lens in case you wondered! :)

I dont see why you two are fighting all you do is speaking your mind which is allright!

From what i read there were no reason to feel that anyone of you were aggressive. Both were just stating facts but i can agree that the lecture you were given baga might been able to guide baga rather than trying to make him look like a know nothing which he is not! Remember we are in this forum to helÄret an guide eachother! Not to fight and push eachother down to look superior!

On topic again:
Keep up the good work guys and i cant wait to get playing around and test the alpha when its ready! :D

General Help Q&A / Re: live view motion detect

Does the live view motion detect feature only take one photo, or does it reset automatically and take another next time there is a movement?

Tried it today on 60D and it continues to shoot by default setting after you pushed it on. Had around 5 minutes to try it before leaving but you should be able to change the settings to what you prefer! :)

Hey guys, back after 12hrs of internet outage.
@baga, no I did not magane to do the firmware dumping as required
@nanomad, what is causing the font - ooops issue?
BTW, I've tried to boot the camera with the ML, it runs, the EV is always overlaying ML. Live view was very laggy and I did not manage to record more than 15 seconds.
I'm looking forward to see the alpha.

Were you able to record longer before havibg ML on the SD card?

Also remove the card from the camera and check what Class your SD card is! To record HD fot longer periods you should have an Class 10 SD card!

Hope that i van be as much assistance as possible even without the Pre-Alpha1! :)

WARNING: This will make both your card and your camera bootable. It should also be the only "permanent" change to your camera this build does, but I cannot guarantee you that

Reading that makes me wonder what that even means!

Not home right now so cant access my camera right now and get started!

Once I collect this information ill disable the non working features and release the real alpha.
Let's call it a test to see how many people are actually interested in helping out the project by donating a bit of time ;)

I would love to donate as much time as i can possible offer! im having alot of dead hours sometimes on my internship this entire week that i could spend testing some! Gonna keep a close watch on this topic tommorow and i speak from all of us when i say: THANKS ALOT DEVS!
We all (At least i do) appreciate what you done to the Canon film world!  ;D

please i have a problem.  i can understand. i have my t4i and 2 memories but i test that: I try to write a update firmware to the lens 40mm canon STM. But i can. The mesaje say the disc is write protected. I hope to wait for ML to my camera but now have that problem. I ask this here and to the seller. But the seller there does not know which is the problem. Please tell my Where I can post this question inside the site. And the switch isn't the problem. the switch to lock is unlock. thanks

I think you are in the wrong section! Nevertheless.

Take a look on the SD cards side there is a small slider which makes the card read only.

Try that and see if it helps :)

Movie restart should work. As far as overcoming the 30m limit I have no idea

Sounds good! Any idea on when to release Alpha 1? :)

They had taken the donation link down due to some...circumstances.

They recommend donating to the EFF instead.

https://www.eff.org/

Alright i donate a few bucks to them! Thanks for the info! :D
