Levas, could you give a brief explanation of your workflow in Rawtherapee? Seems really useful, but I can't quite get the same results as you.

Thanks in advance!

Verrrrry nice! Could you explain a bit more about your 'custom' LUT? Thank you!

Nice! What did you use for post-processing?

Yes it's amazing, definitely turns it into a different beast. I'm now considering selling my 600D body to buy this filter. Arrgg tough decision.

Me too, definitely the GOP size in combination with the bitrate would be awesome.

Well I'm particularly interested in how you process the RAW files. Do you set them to the BMD Filmspace? And afterwards do you grade from there or do you use a lut to get the contrast back? Many thanks in advance.

BTW that's a very big difference in saturation and colors on the YT version.

In which program are you viewing the 10bit files that look washed out?

Some video types look washed out in VLC for example, but when you open them in a NLE they look fine. I think this has to do with the playback software not reading the blackpoint etc correctly.

Amazing video! Very nice and clear shots. Thanks for sharing. Would you mind sharing a little bit of your post process in Resolve?

Glad to hear it's not just me. Could you confirm that if you adjust the aperture while in live view (in a version that does let you do it) that the live view freezes briefly which also affects recordings? I've still not had any confirmation of this from anyone.

Thanks

@far.in.out That fixed it, thank you!

@rguk Would have to try if I get the same behavior. Will report back asap.

So I've also got the above issue with not being able to adjust aperture and so on with the wheels while in Liveview. I have to go to the exposure page of ML to adjust.

Also I now have VERY pink frames while processing the MLV files with raw2cdng. I did now have this before with a third party modification I will not mention here. Does anyone else have this?

For me I will not be switching to Nightly just yet.

Some nice shots in there! Thanks for posting. What picture style did you use? It looks flat but not too flat.

Thanks for the clarification.

Will CDNG work with this profile?

Seriously super nice filmmaking. One of the first shortfilms I really enjoyed watching untill the end.

I was just wondering: why would you go through all this trouble with cropping? Is it just the extra pixels? Because I've seen some stuff from the 50D without cropping that looked razorsharp too, definitly for YT and Vimeo use.
