Fire up the intervalometer, put the camera to focus to nearbylights, stop down a bit, put it in Av mode, start spinning the camera like a YoYo using its strap (I am not resposible if you break ur camera.)

On 550 D, the dial controls the shutter speed and "Av+ Dial" changes the aperture. I like to shoot in aperture priority, so can the main dial be hacked to control the aperture in "M" mode as in "Av" while "Av+Dial" changes the shutter speed.
