I have some questions:
Is it possible to capture Full Resolution Silent Pictures in Jpeg format? (Live View, Video Mode)
If so, is it then possible to capture Full Frame (5K) in an MJpeg stream? thereby solving the bus/data transfer speed limitation, as well as the Moire problem. (Smaller File Sizes)
I remember reading that one of you guys were working on MJpeg for live view 1920x1080 a long time back.
I own a 5D MKII and 7D.

Correct me if I'm wrong, been wondering since I heard of RAW crop mode - Full frame at 3x Crop is approximately equivalent to a 16mm sensor or film negative in size, Right?
Therefore, a 5DMKIII equipped with a 16mm sensor/film lens (aligned correctly in crop mode) should be akin to a BMPC on steroids - Same FOV, DOF + Higher Resolution Options, Low light Sensitivity, 14Bit RAW and 60fps.
What would be max resolution to keep it 16mm? (11.9mm x 6.7mm) 1920x1080?
If the higher resolutions, 2K+ (5DIII Crop mode 1:1) use a larger area of the sensor compared to 1920x1080, what res would emulate micro 4/3rd sensors?

If you guys get this running on the 7D, "Hope you do" you think it'll be possible to use the 2nd processor to add compression to the RAW? If so, what compression would be possible, Mjpeg, ProRes, DNxHD?

But g3ggo said the raw image is on the other proc so harder to get at.. which is why its not done.
