"Failed to create file. Card full?" What does this message mean? Today I wanted to see how long it would continuously record to 128gb CF card since I never shoot continuously longer than 4-5 minutes at a time and I was curious. After first 10 minutes or so, it stopped recording with this message so I turned it off and back on to try again and it stopped after around 10 minutes with the exact same message. Does anyone know what it is?

I am not sure. Please give me a direct link to its download and I will bookmark that for future downloads if that is where they all appear. I briefly looked at this app before and now I started to look closer at it since MLV is working pretty good on my M.

Thank you,
Gary.

First post of the thread has all the direct links (in big bold font) you need.

well, you should be able to select them easily as the names start with the original file name.

I know it's a little thing, but more often than not, these little things make the program so much better, so I thought I'd just ask.

Thanks again for sharing your work with us.

g3gg0,

would it be possible for MLVBrowseSharp to export multiple mlv files to multiple sub-folders?

Thank you for sharing your work!!

Any updates on this? This would be an amazing feature!!

In-Camera playback is slow and you cannot get out of it in the middle of playback. Also, I am not 100% sure whether you can play them back when hdmi monitor is attached.

Make sure to format your CF card in ExFat.
A clapboard is a must for audio syncing since 5d III raw will not record sound.
Raw frame screen is off when viewing through HDMI. Choose grey preview option and it will remove raw frame bars.
You can play clips back inside the camera, but I wouldn't recommend it. Do it if you must.

Has the compression mode issue been cleared up with this release?
What is difference between normal and lossless?

1. use rawmagic to convert separate raws into separate dng folders. (don't know why raw2dng will not implement this)
2. import dng folders into davinci resolve

Is raw2dng_whitefix the latest raw2dng that handles dual iso raw files? Will it handle normal raw files as well?

It's way too complicated for me.
WHAT???!!!

Audio part is what I am excited about. It is neat to have a little beep sound, but when you are in a place with music/loud noise/etc., that little beep sound is so easily buried under.

I am wondering if this can be possible with 5D3 raw shooting. Anyone else?

tin2tin,

Thank you for sharing your program with us. I think it is a very useful tool. Below is my feedback after testing it.

1. Does it always need to copy a raw file over? I already have bunch of raw files in my hard drive and I would like to avoid unnecessary copying and pasting time. Possible?

2. When I need to pick a source file and a destination file, it won't let me go up to parent folders. If its source folder is set to F:\Raw, but I would like to pick another source folder F:\Raw2, for example, I cannot do it because I can't go up to its parent folder F:\
I can edit .ini file and reopen the program, but it's a pain.

3. It seems to struggle when a file is bigger. I have a couple 8GB raw files, it just hangs when trying to process these files.

Thanks again for your work.

Hi I have a bunch of folders with dng files from before. Is there a way to pick up from there? Right now it does raw-dng-tiff-conversion, right? Is there a way to start from dng files?

The old raw2dng was the may 26 file. The new one was may 30, which is the most recent one i found.

Just in case there is anyone else that may have a similar confusion as scurrvy2020, make sure you download from hudson download page.

Is there an option I can set to automatically create folder jpg instead of having to be prompted for every raw file?
#18
Where is this newest raw2dng?
#19
Just tried new raw2dng window version. I see black vertical lines too.

Even if there is a USB Host Adapter CF Card that supports USB 3, will Canon cameras be able to recognize it?
#21
I was wondering if there is a similar product with USB 3 support. Would USB 3 have sufficient speed?
#22
Not sure if anyone mentioned a product like this before, but I just found this and thought it might be useful.

So, it basically creates dng folders, uses raw2dng to extract dngs from raw, and uses dcraw to create thumbnails? Great work!

Just tested with my tamron 24-70 and with my cheap nikon 35mm manual lens. There isn't much difference.

@squig, are you looking at your dng files without noise reduction?

I'm using the  lourenco builds and I've never had the sitripes/banding.

That could very well be a poor speculation out of my ignorance.
