I recorded some HDR video tests today and it varied from 68 to 72 mbps, very happy with the results
Used a SanDisk Extreme Pro 95mb/s SD card and CBR at 1.5x

HDR video is a great feature I've been using that outputs video you certainly can't with a ND filter, I love it!

You need the FIR and ML files on the card too.

But:
-  Remove any third party accessories / batteries first
-  Don't use a battery grip
- Clear canon settings and Cfn
- Run fw upgrade from PHOTO M mode (not video, photo)

So you need to extract files from Pre-alpha2 onto the formatted SD Card and put the safe-dumper.fir, then upgrade the firmware? (Worked for me)

Was so excited to test the pre-alpha2, but I guess I can't since bootflag isn't enabled, only pre-alpha1 testers can do it since there is no firmware dumper available yet.

Good Morning, so excited to finally test out Magic Lantern on my 650D, I tried installing it and went through all the steps, (Low lvl format, EOScard, and passing over the files) and turned on my camera and couldnt get ML to work.
I passed over the ML folder and overwrited the autoexec file that EOScard put in my SD card for the one in the ML pre-alpha. Did I do something wrong?

I think we should let them finish the alpha with all the already great features Magic Lantern has before asking for any extra features or it will never come out

May I ask how is the alpha going?

I don't mean to pressure anyone just would like an update on it for all of us Magic Lantern lovers that can't wait for it to come out, I check every reply on this post hoping its good news about the alpha

Thanks to the developers for all of their dedication on making our cameras so much better and functional

When is Magic Lantern coming out on the t4i/650D?
I miss using my former t3i that i sold that had ML..
