Hi!

When I'm one-man-band I sometimes end up in front of the camera (e.g. during interview). It's rather hard or sometimes even impossible to focus in such situation.
Starting and stopping video is an easy task thanks to half-press remap hack in ML, but is there any way to remotely trigger AF? I tried EOS utility and while I can trigger autofocus easily it seems impossible to start recording.

Is there any way to solve this problem?

Hi!

I never encourage a single problem using ML on 50D, until today. I was experimenting with video recording using standard H.264 and I discovered some single, blue-tinted frames in test video footage.

Sample properly looking frame (OOF, but it doesn't make difference here): http://i.imgur.com/sIahvuW.jpg

File looks exactly the same in QuickTime, so it's not an VLC issue. Footage was captured on SanDisk Extreme 120MB 32GB. CBR was set to "up to 2.0x", movie record 1920x1080, 30fps without FPS override.
I used Nightly.2015Nov15.50D109 build.
