2 lenses used, tamron 45mm and a vintage om 100 f/2.8. all handheld with a small monopod / tripod pressed against my chest to stabilize the shaking footage.

Shot using the mcm rewire mode at 1736x1158 resolution

Mosiac engineering filter installed on the camera, tested with the kit lens ef-m 18-55 and the ef-m 22mm. MCM rewire, full sensor read out, upscaled to 4k

Aliasing and moire is still present but reduced enough that I dont have to throw away as much footage.

Eos m! Some handheld footage i got this past Sunday. Working hard on exposing and focusing correctly.. still a lot to learn with this tiny camera.

I saw a few threads but in regards to larger dslrs with ML. Can anyone share their experience with gimals on the smaller eos-m (such as feiyutech or zhiyun)

I will probably need a max paypal of 2lbs since I'm using ef adaped lens which are quite heavier.

Hello all, this is my first time operating a camera and shooting in raw.

I'm blown away at the quality coming out of my eos-m (thank you Danne!) but I just realized I'm bottlenecked by my laptop in handling such large files. A 1 minute video at a size of 2 GB is a bit shocking to me. Playback on MLVAPP and adobe premiere is extremely choppy.

Are there any menu items that you recommend for me to change such as bitrate or resolution? Is there such a thing as an optimal setting for "general purpose" youtube videos?

Thank you!

Not sure why my footage comes out more film like and grainy. My current settings are

Canon efs 24mm pancake
.9x bit rate
24 fps
crop mode - mv1080p_mv720p mode
raw on, 1280x720, 16:9, 14 bit lossless

In addition, would a jump from my current 100d (sl1) to a mirrorless eos-m a big difference? Even though regarded as the smallest dslr, its still way too big for me to be considered as an everyday carry camera that can fit into my jacket pocket.
