Hi. Could you please tell me if there is any way to magic zoom face tracking in manual focus mode just as it works with autofocus enabled.
I would like to buy a lens for street portraits and selecting between my two favorite lenses (awesome Sigma art 35mm 1.4 and vintage Nikkor 35mm 1.4) i'd rather old Nikkor because of some reasons. They have the same price...
My 5d2 auto focus system is very unstable. It focuses on eyes olny in 15-30%, even if I use only the center point. Ears, hair, forehead, but not eyes. No matter what lens I use, I must use manual mode for taking good pictures. So id like to buy a manual lens, a screen viewfinder and try to focus quickly on eyes using magic zoom. Moving the zoom box each time with the joystick is too slow. So is there any way to let the camera think that we are in auto focus mode for enable face tracking with manual lenses?
