I'm sure that with a camera like 5d mk3 or other cam with a higher resolution like 7d, 50d etc.. is worth it.. But with a 100d that has a lower resolution is it worth it to shoot videos in raw?
The 100D currently is able to shoot 10 bit raw at 1568x882 in (16:9) in continuos mode. Versus 1920x1080 with H264 compression. certainly raw format has more flexibility and offers a lot of possibilities in post-production like Shadow and High lights recovery, custom white balance etc..
but if the goal is to get a decent video in full hd, Is that resolution sufficient?
do not misunderstand me, I appreciate this opportunity to shoot raw videos. I just want to understand more about raw potential and how best to use it.
