is it possible to run ML on external host like rasperry pi or any other host?

1. A custom made CF card adapter where wires are connected with CF card pinouts and these wires are soldiered on rasperry pi. (Making this adapter card is not ML developers responsibility.)
2. Now rasperry pi is controlling CF card pins and it is external.
Can we now install ML on rasperry pi..........
WHY all this
Rasperry pi is a very good platform, inexpensive, features, ports and if ML is ported than it means we will have a complete PC running our DSLRs. Internet connectivity, instant uploading, usbs, sensors to name a few. rasperry pi installed in battery grip
