Hi all.

Haven't posted here for a long time. This video of Milky Way timelapses shot on 60D with ML (still old version which I used for my early ML Raw videos) and also 5D Mk3. The 60D is usually used on my DIY slider with ML intervalometer triggering a Dynamic Perception MX2 and Merlin Head.

My timelapse workflow has always been simply Adobe Bridge with ACR and After Effects.

Lens used: Tokina 11-16mm 2.8 on the 60D and Samyang 14mm 2.8 + Samyang 24mm 1.4 for 5D3.

These shots were done in the span of about 7 months.

Run n gun type timelapse of the famed aircraft carrier while it berth off Kota Kinabalu port in Malaysia. Still quite a distance away from land and the crummy weather didn't help. Just one 60D with ML and Manfrotto tripod.

Magic Lantern is just simply very handy.

In my haste chasing locations to get good shooting views, made some mistakes in my first try at manual ramping :(

Some one asked about fps settings on Vimeo so I posted this. Test shots using the Magic Lantern FPS override feature showing of cloud movement at different speeds plus one night traffic shot. From 3fps down to 0.25fps.

Sorry don't know how to embed vimeo videos here.

Magic Lantern 2.3 60D test clips strung together. Raws and jpgs straight into After Effects. Basic intervalometer, FPS overide and bramping (not easy to get right!).

I have been lurking around here for some time and decided it is time to post.

I shoot videos and timelapses on the 60D (with ML) and 600D. The Bramping and FPS overide features in ML is so valuable.

Thank you very much for ML.

Hope to post more soon including work I have done using ML.
