i have been trying to figure this one out for a while now, and it now comes down to the last few steps of post production and i want to bassicly render my RAW footage from davinci resolve into prores files on a windows machine, is this possible because i have been trying to figure this one out for weeks now.


P.S person that will fix my problem will be donated 10 dollars via paypal
P.S i know DNxHD is a option but i heard proress (12 bit vs 10 bit dnxhd) i waayy better when it comes down to colors

Hello guys,

This may sound strange but i love when a lens makes alot of flares and light streaks, this could be done by having a uncoated lens... unfortunatly these lenses are very very expensive. Now my question is, is it possible to remove the coating yourself?

Hello everyone,

I have just shot a vacation video on the ''Landscape'' picture profile, now since its RAW i heard it does not matter in what picture style i shoot since it's going to adjusted anyway.
Now here is the problem for me whenever i choose the colorspace ''BMD Film'' Setting my footage always seems to be underexposed by up to 2 points. Is there any way to fix this problem? Is there any picture profile setting that maybe matched the ''BMD Film'' color space so we can get correct exposure.

Hello everyone,

I am fairly new to the scene of Magic Lantern and i have just installed Magic Lantern on my 5D Mark III and recorded some beautifull 14 bit RAW footage and it looks absolutely amazing. Coming from 8 bit H264 the workflow was easy as stealing candy from a little kid....

And i have came across one big problem which is the next.

1. Turn Camera ON = Check
2. Record RAW 14 bit footage = Check
3. Import = Check
4. Convert to DNG = Check
5. Import to Davinci Resolve and grade = Check
6. Export to Proress 4444 = ERROR.

After i did my research i found out Windows doesnt allow Prores4444 to to exported natively. Which came as a big shock to me because there is a reason the footage looks amazing ( 14 bit, and raw quality ) My question to you smarties is please save me and tell me its possible to export them in Prores4444 because if i cant i feel like i wasted alot of time and stress for nothing haha but im sure there is a way to do it.

i just received my 64gb Komputerbay 1000x cards in the mail today and these are the reuslt it gave me on crystal disk bench mark. and i am not sure if this is enaugh for continious 24p full hd raw recording. what do you guys think?

Hello everyone,

After saving almost a year for my lovely 5D Mark iii, i finally got it home and i want to install magic lantern as quick as possible on my new 5D Mark iii, However there are a few questions/problems that need to be solved before i can actually install and utilize the Magic Lantern firmware.

The forum is full of posts which is great, but for me in my eyes its a mess i cant seem to find the latest and most stable version of Magic Lantern. And all the Youtube tutorials are from 2013 so i dont know what has changed trough out all of these months. So my question to you guys is, can somebody link me the most stable (most tested) Magic Lantern firmware for RAW Continious shooting, i dont care about MLV right now simple because i haven't heard too many great things about it yet (i bet it will be fixed in the future!)

So to sum things up :

- I also have a question about how i enable Magic Lantern to write the RAW files to my CF card ( because i am going to install ML on a SD and write the RAW files on my CF )
- I also heard something about the bootflag with the 5D3 which was a great thing to happen
- Whats the best test and known Magic Lantern firmware untill now ?

Hello everyone,

i heard you could boot off a SD card for ML and make it write the files on the CF so you could keep the SD card in at all times. Now i only happen to have a  4 gb micro SD card from sandisk ( class 4 card ) with that i got the little sandisk mirco sd to sd card converter. Now my question is, can i safely install it on the microsd (with sd card converter) without any problems.
