I directed and shot this little Halloween short film. Would love some feedback if you have a second. I'll answer any technical questions you might have.

Hope you enjoy!

I made this three minute short film to learn the new MLV file system but it turned into a really personal piece for me. Hope you enjoy it.

If you have any workflow questions I'll happily answer them.

All footage in the reel except for six clips was filmed on a 5D mark3 running ML with the 24-105mm f4. The six that weren't shot on the 5D were shot on the Alexa. First person to give time stamps of all Alexa footage wins. If you confuse any of the ML footage for Alexa footage I WIN!  ;)

Hope you dig the new reel.

Here is my latest short shot on the two cameras listed above and some Sony F35.
As far as I'm concerned the 5D raw footage blends seamlessly with these two very expensive cameras.
I know with streaming compression it helps but even in the master its basically impossible to tell.

See if you can figure out where the 5D is used.

Hopefully you'll enjoy the film as well.

A teaser for my new short we're funding now on Indiegogo.

Not here to get contributions but for tips on making the teaser as compelling as possible.

Also it was my first time using raw in awhile so any tips on the grade are also very welcome.

It's the last day of summer in rural Illinois, 1967. A young boy lays on his back alone in the dirt. Trying to catch his breath, sweat rolling down his face, he remembers a recent encounter with two other boys. As the conversation unfolds we slowly realize who we are seeing and why he's alone.
