Raw Video Postprocessing / MLVbrowssharp problem
August 20, 2014, 10:55:48 AM
My MLVbrowssharp suddenly does not work anymore.
When I press export DNG + WAV and select a folder to export to then it says status succes right away! Without even convert one DNG file.

Can someone help me? Yesterday I converted alot of mlv files with MLVbrowssharp and now it does not work anymore!

Raw Video / metering on global draw screen.
July 14, 2014, 01:14:21 PM
Hi all I just had a shoot. I shot in RAW.
Back on the computer the clips from raw are to dark...
How does the metering work ? I see to little screens on my screen that move when I move the camera. One has a purple line in the middle.

Can someone give me more info about how to use this?

Hi all just a little question.
Does the use of a lcd viewfinder like zacuto Z give me more stability when shooting video? I was looking at the zacuto z JR.

Hi all,

A question.. when planning on making a short video. Do you need to have and or find music for the video first or after!?

When making a video you need to have a plan I know. Does it also need to have the music first?

Hi All,

I just orderd a NTG2 Rode mic.
With magic lantern I can play with the audio levels and turn AGC OFF.
I read many people using a juiced link... should I still need that even with all the controls magic lanern has to offer me?

Kind regards,

Johnny

Hi boys and (14%) girls  ;)

There are many people that claim to know the best rendering settings.
Like the well known Philip Bloom, befor he use his DSLR footage for editing he first convert it with MPEG_streamclip. And then to FCP rendering in Prores422.

I am not a MAC user so no prores422 option for me. And read that the best codec for windows user is AVIDdnxHD. Or do you people recommend other codec and why? And should I use MPEG_streamclip first?
I like to know how many mbs I should render to get the best results.

I have sony vegas and after effects sould I move to finalcut pro?

Hope you guys can make this clear to me and others who are struggling with this!
