General Help Q&A / how to identify files for HDR
December 21, 2013, 08:59:10 AM
In the past till  Nov 2013 nightlies there was a file with .sh extension which contains the names of the files that are to be processed for HDR. From December 2013 nightlies I don't see this file in the sd card. Is it possible to bring that back?
It is difficult to find the files that are to be processed for HDR

I am on Canon EOS 60D

Thanks.

General Chat / Please suggest some lens EOS 60D
December 19, 2013, 01:43:04 PM
Hi all,

I am having some 1000 € as budget for lens & a tripod (optional) for my EOS 60D.

I am looking for wide angle lens and Macro lens.

I cannot decide between Tokina 11-16 & Canon 10-22
Reviews suggest Tokina has too much flare but good with 2.8

I look to take landscape and for a long time want to try astro photography (now with Tripod and later with I have money with Telescopes)

I have been checking for Macro and narrowed down (mainly with budget)
Tamron SP 90mm F/2.8 Di VC USD Macro-Lens 1:1
Tamron SP AF 60mm F/2.0 Di II Macro 1:1
Tamron AF 90mm 2.8 Di Macro 1:1 SP

have anyone of you used these lenses? what's your feedback?

I am looking for some help in deciding

I have a Canon EOS 60D + Sigma 18-200 mm F3.5-6.3 II DC OS HSM & Canon 75-300 non IS

Many thanks for your time

General Chat / B&W in camera or post processing?
July 31, 2013, 03:41:07 PM
Are there any differences between taking a camera in B&W and taking in color (raw/jpeg) and making it B&W in post processing?

which one is better?
