Ok so I tried to reinstall ML on my Canon 5D Mark III and for some reason my camera just won't take it anymore. I've used ML for a couple years, maybe even longer and I've never had a problem. But for some reason I can't make it work on my camera. I finally gave up and decided to uninstall and return the new firmware but it just won't let me. What do I do now? 

So I found a Canon 5D Mark III after my Mark II died on me last week. The price was so cheap I just had to buy it. I found it for 2,399.00 at Calumet photography in Chicago. I haven't really messed with it that much yet, but the few times I did use it I am not really impressed. I tried filming inside my apartment and I noticed the footage is very noisy and kind of crappy to be rather blunt. I compared it to my Blackmagic pocket on Pro Res and it looked like garbage. Is there a chance I bought a bad camera? Or am I just being very picky? I don't remember my Mark II being this noisy. I am going to do some tests and post the footage soon so maybe I can get some feed back from everyone. I won't put Magic Lantern on it since it's used. I want to use it as it is for a bit and then once I'm confident it's fine I will try ML.

I think I deleted something off my CF card and now I can't get my camera back on. I could really use some help right about now. I've been using ML on my Canon 5D Mark II for almost two years now. I've never had a problem before. Can anyone help me with some trouble shooting? I really need my camera up and running before tomorrow. 

Here's a video I filmed at the skatepark using three of my cameras. I used my Canon 7D, my Canon 5D Mark II, and my GoPro Hero 3. Some footage is in regular H264, and then I have RAW footage and GoPro footage.

I took a trip to California this past week and decided to try filming in RAW. I then edited the pro res files real quick to come up with this little video.

Here are some quick clips of a project I am working on. But I'm not liking the quality compared to what I was getting the other day. Maybe it was just too dark that day.

So I was bored and wanted to try out macro. But I don't have the equipment. So I held together an 18-55mm to my 50mm and tested it out with my T2i. Now I want to do it again using a real macro lens and tripod. And maybe even use my 5D and film it in RAW

This is my third and last test with RAW. I think I will try and finally use it for an actual project. I am loving the quality. This is just a quick test, I forgot to fix the white balance on one of the shots.

Just a quick test of how things would be if I were to film in RAW around the city. Nothing special yet, but I do see dramatic improvements between the quality of H264 and RAW.

Not sure why I can't film longer than just 55 frames still
