Feature Requests / Cutom False Colour
October 25, 2015, 03:32:29 AM
Hi,

This would be lovely to have. Say something similar to crop marks, where you can produce an image to tell the ML how to display corresponding luminance values.
Is this currently hard coded?

Thanks,

Hi,

would it be possible to have cards formatted exFAT in camera?

formatting SD 16gb exFAT with 550d returns FAT32; Not a big deal..

formatting SD 64gb exFAT with 5dIII 1.2.3 returns exFAT; YES!

formatting CF 64gb exFAT with 5dIII 1.2.3 returns FAT32; Booooo!

Thanks!

Hi,

Adapters for older lenses have chips with signature usually f1.4 50mm. Would camera by any chance be able to overwrite it?

I have this feeling in my gut that it's highly unlikely, but would be really cool feature to edit lens name, focal length and aperture.

Cheers,

Feature Requests / Media Logs - *.log files
April 20, 2013, 02:43:57 AM
Hi,

I've just started using logs I believe it would be nice to have some tweaks here and there.. ;)

1. ISO, when altered using ML digital ISOcould be logged accordingly (eg.: iso 100 with ml d iso -2 ev logs as ISO 100).
Would be nice to have something like ISO: 100 -2.0EV = 25.

2. same goes with overridden FPS (eg: fps 50 stepped down to 3 FPS logs as FPS 50).
Could be something like FPS: 50 (3)

3. on windows, opening log file with notepad, things get mashed. I bet it has something to do with new line character. Is it currently optimized for mac? It would be nice to at least have an option somewhere for log file formatting.

4. it could also log resolution. Not very important, but why not?

5. my shutter was logged all right: 1/3.060s, except in CSV Data section: 63 ??.

6. CSV lacks date, lens name, WB, pic style, FPS, Bit rate

Thank you for Lantern,

Hi,

Couldn't find any info on this so far, so would love to hear from you..

Assume you have to light a set that already has several sources of same type of light - X.
You need to match your light to X.

I would use PushWB, check temperature and using (http://www.leefilters.com/lighting/mired-shift-calculator.html) would pick my filter.

What about Magenta/Green and Blue/Amber?
Is there a better way?

Cheers
