Canon is very restrictive in fps options, usually single-half-max speed.
For example Nikon in D600 offers a user-selectable option for a "middle setting": 2-3-4-5-6 fps.

Let it be 5 fps for a Canon 7D

I use flash compensation often and the way Canon made it in 6D is stupid: I must remove my eye from the viewfinder and look into the rear screen!
Perhaps this is possible to make: pressing ISO button for more than a second (or two successive presses?) activates a flash compensation with indicators in viewfinder (instead of ambient exposure compensation)?

Or * button that I never use anyway

I always wanted some shutter delay because in the series of three slow-shutter shots there is always the second one that gets the sharpest image. Finger "stabilization" must play something in it.
Now both 5D III and 6D solve this problem magnificently with a silent (read: smooth) shutter option (always ON on my 6D !), but there are other cameras lacking that - so a shutter delay of say: 1/4, 1/8, 1/15, 1/2 would be nice

Program mode is so many times useless because it goes into max aperture (or /less so/ min aperture).
These apertures are either of low quality or too shallow for accurate AF.
What is needed is P mode with say "-1/2 f-stop" meaning "first usable aperture is the max one minus 1/2"

This may include
-1/3 f-stop
-1/2 f-stop
-1 f-stop

I guess you see what I mean.

For some reason 6D shows only horizontal level indication in viewfinder/top-plate lcd.
I hate that because most of the times I need it for *vertical* shots (for example with ultra-wide lenses).

Is this possible??
For quick checking of new lenses.
Personally MA /micro adjustment/  "based on a distance" will be great.. my 5DII and 100/2 are fantastic at long distance at "-20", and at 2-3 meters at "0"

My suggestion:
I sorely miss "on demand" (active only when button-pressed and keep pressed) spot metering. Assignable to any of thumb-reached buttons.
To explain: I want to use average/or any "normal" metering/ for most of time but in strong contrast situations I will press the button for precise spot-metering of important area. The way Canon wants me to do - switching to spot metering, pressing the memory button.. and than back to average is very cumbersome.
You might offer the option "toggle" .. and please don't do it re-settable after one shot, because is is usually needed for several shots in succession.
