Forum and Website / Which camera?
February 09, 2014, 10:23:00 AM
As I look through the posts I sometimes wonder if post is relevant to my camera.

Therefore I wish all members would list which cameras they own in the signature
which appears at the bottom of each post they post.

Thank you from a member that is not as smart as some here.

Tragic Lantern / Formating SD card
November 13, 2013, 09:56:08 PM
OK I really need to try this rather than asking.   ;D
If I format my card in camera keeping ML it will keep the fat32 system. But if I have formated my card (in computer) exfat to take advantage of Tragic Lantern's 30 minute record. Then format in camera will it resort to fat32 or keep exfat?

I have read that if you switch off audio you can set the camera to better bit rates. To help with syncing would it be possible to record lower settings for a few seconds with audio then automatically switch to the better setting without audio?

Just wondering. What is the maximum frame size we can record video in. So I suppose what I am asking is can we record larger than 1080p This would give more options for panning, framing in post.

OK I just ordered one Hauppauge HD PVR 2 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hauppauge-Gaming-Edition-Capture-Device/dp/tech-data/B0092P47GW/ref=de_a_smtd And a light bulb just lit in my head. I have the Canon T2i and T3i If I can make the Hauppauge portable could I plug it into a laptop and use it as a portable recorder. That is if my son lets me borrow his Christmas present.

Would it be possible to set record time to 10 minute. The reason I ask is if you are on a two or three camera shoot you could keep track of when each camera is going to auto restart and maybe make sure you can capture something good with the other camera at this time.eg you might be recording the vows at a wedding when one of the cameras auto restarts just at the "I do" part then you know by glancing at stopwatch that you can't afford to miss that time.
