Duplicate Questions / C100

Welcome to the fascinating world of reverse engineering!

I know canon has forbid ML developers from touching the C line (or so I've been told) but are there any rumors of rumors of anything EVER being developed for say, a c100.  The more the price drops on the c100 and the more polished ML becomes...the camera God's should allow it into existence.  8)  ML on the M is a better image than 85% of the video cameras/dslr's they have in production or ever produced, so I'm not sure why they would care at this point.  I'd literally buy a c100 tomorrow if there was a ML build for it. lol

I'm asking this question as a Magic Lantern over EVERYthing loyalist, so don't kill me for asking. lmao

Has anybody ever attempted it, or is it known to be impossible?  (and I'm sorry if this has been asked a million times, I don't hang out in the general discussion often)

One may ask, "but why would you need to?" and before today, I would have said there really wouldn't be too many reasons, but now that the BRAW format has been released for the Pocket 4K, people are discovering that BMD will no longer include shooting in CinemaDNG with their cameras, thanks to RED patents.  From my understanding, the patent only refers to "compressed RAW", so why wouldn't BMD settle for removing compressed and use uncompressed along with BRAW, unless their cameras don't have the horsepower?  Basically, all this has led me to asking this question here...to people I know that know their shit. lol

Share Your Videos / "Cabin Fever" mlv testing 5D mk3
March 27, 2014, 02:58:55 PM
no LUT, no FilmConvert, just quickly graded in resolve.  this is not the final version of the video, a friend of mine wanted to see how some of the footage looked that I had been capturing, because he may be considering purchasing a mk3.   don't shoot me, but I exported this in .wmv for quicker upload time,  I do however plan on uploading a better quality version with some slight FC added.
lens: canon 24-105
most shots are with glidecam hd2000, manfrotto 561 monopod, and some are with my bare hands ;)
