Hi all,
Whoever is using Resolve and Premiere CS6, please holler back :)
Here's what i use/do: DNGs come from Tonybeccar's MLV Converter, imported in DaVinci Resolve for basic image adjustments (no sharpening applied at this stage), then i export some proxies and proceed in Premiere CS6. After the cut i go back to Resolve for final CC. Here's the deal: i don't have Resolve's Noise Reduction (free version) but i do have Neat Video for Premiere. How should i proceed in order to keep the current workflow, but apply Noise Reduction in Premiere?
I was thinking... export a high-res color corrected material on the first place from Resolve into Premiere, NR there and proceed with the cut, but sometimes you go for the final look after you have your final cut... so, a bit lost here... Any suggestions?
Thank you for your time/expertise, in advance... and have a fineee weekend

I'm going through some specs and trying to figure out which one is the "best" RAID0 3TB Seagate HDD to go to, having ML RAW workflows in mind of course:

ST3000DM001
7200RPM
64MB Cache
SATA3
  vs  ST3000VM002
5900RPM
64MB Cache
SATA3
Basically, the "only" difference is the RPM. I've heard that for those RAID0s the lower the RPM, the more "reliable" it is...
Any thoughts?

Hi all,
Just an idea: Do you think a forum board which has the ML menu structure makes sense?
Here's the case:
A new user is searching to read/learn/ask how/what the Mirror Lockup is about, located under Shoot.
Or what about Scaling located under Overlay/Histo?
If we have this tree structure like in the ML navigation, it'll be much easier for newcomers to figure out stuff, and not bother with devs/etc. on the "big boards/threads" asking stuff like: hey, how do i enable modules and such.
What do u think?

There are mixed results when using ML with this card, so maybe it's a good idea to put them all together?
Since this is the second most affordable 1000x 64GB CF, after the KomputerBay cards, i thought it's a good idea to have a dedicated thread....
Anyone willing to share experience?

I know it's not a 1000x, and i know it's a "Duracell" too, but i've seen somewhere much better speeds from the same card...

Anyone? Ideas?
