Hello everyone,
i apologize if this has been already discussed elsewhere but i wasn't able to find it...
I have an external monitor connected via HDMI in Liveview. Every time i take a picture with the camera, the monitor takes a few seconds to return to Liveview again...
This appears to be caused by the camera turning off the HDMI output -> taking the picture -> turning HDMI back on, which causes an additional delay for signal detection and HDMI-handshake on the monitor side. (I have the same issue with a 5DMK2 and MK3 and i suppose all cameras behave like that)
A "simple" solution for this could be to force the camera to transmit simple black frames instead of turning HDMI off and on again.
Would this be possible to fix?
