I'm up here in Ontario, Canada taking 'Television Broadcasting' at my college. While the school packs some expensive Sony ENG type cameras, for getting the film look they have little more than some 60Ds. I own a T2i/550D with ML on it and I use it as my main camera for class projects. For one of our final projects, we ran around campus to borrow materials from a bunch of other programs, namely the Paramedic, Police and Nursing programs so we could film a cop show on campus. Someone from the local police service even hung out with us while we filmed and supplied us with airsoft guns to use as props. We put the ML logo and gave things to the dev team in the ending credits to show appreciation for putting zebras, focus peaks, increased bitrate and a waveform monitor on our little Rebel camera.
