Hello.

What i really hate on recording h264 with the 5DM2 is, that the resolution drops on my external monitors. With the RAW recording feature the resolution stays super clear and sharp on my external monitor.

Now i have a project where i want to record "the old way" with h264 BUT i want this full res HDMI out!

Is there a way for this?

I´ve always conformed (not converted) my 30fps files (sooner with the "normal" 5DM2 .movs) to 25fps in Apple Cinematools.
With the ProRes files coming out of RAW2DNG this feature is greyed out ...?
Is there a solution for this?

I shot a lot of footage on my 5DM2 RAW with my Iscorama Anamorphot 1.5x. Mostly (cause of the CF limitation) like 10sec clips.
Next week i have a shooting where i need continuous 1920x1250 on 30fps. (i don´t need all the 1920 - so about 1750 would do it too)
So i will shoot with the 5DM3. Can you give me a hint / links where i can find the best / stable version for the 5DM3 on 30fps with sound (low quality is enough, just for synching), please.
And stability on an external HDMI monitor.
And what Canon firmware do i need on the 5DM3?

Hi.
Is it possible to make more aspect ratios on ML RAW hacks for us anamorphic shooters?
If so ... this would be nice:

1280x1080 (for 1920x1080, 16:9)
1280x817 (for 1920x817, 2.35:1)
1280x800 (for 1920x800, 2.40:1)

These are for anamorphic factor 1,5x.

Is it possible to film with ML with Auto ISO and activate the special ISO values?
Now, when i film with Auto ISO it can´t get lower than ISO 100.
I would love to have something like: Auto ISO from: ISO 25 to ISO 1250 ...

one question for silent pictures.
in the manual stands that silent picture is a uncrompressed YUV 422 picutre. Is it like RAW? Can i get informations out of the picture like RAW?

I am looking into shooting a stop motion video with silent pictures. Is the quality better than the quicktime 420 codec? how big is the framesize? how many pictures per second can be made?

In an older build of ML i read about that it is possible to put a mjpeg codec into ML.
How about the new HEVC H265 codec or the good old x264 codec? Or is the digic processor to slow for this actions?
I really like the x264 codec - it´s so much better than standard h264.

for example: auto iso with iso: 160,320,640,1250 and no other ones!

Is it possible to limite the zebra values for example from 65 to 75? (for example: to expose skin tones)
Because now i can only start on 70% on overexp. and for underexp. i can only go to 20%
Can you repeal this limitations?
