I just did a few jobs for independent candidates running for parliament. Besides some gopro adventure footage at the beginning of the first film, it's all 5D MK3 14bit lossless. 99% shot with an old Leica 35mm summicron-r, a few shots with the 90mm summicron and 135mm elmarit-r. Almost all of it shot from the shoulder. Also used a B+W Käsemann polariser and a cheap Hoya ND. Cut and graded in Resolve 16 with filmconvert and http://www.colorghear.com/ , upscaled to UHD. Over 11 days of shooting over 2 terabytes, Magic Lantern crashed once, no files lost.

Be wary: I didn't download the legacy option and version 10 has replaced version 9 on my mac.

Really keen to play with the editing features.

Could you please create an option to toggle the Raw recording display info on/off or at least move it to the bottom of the frame. I had a few instances on a narrative shoot where the boom got into the shot and I couldn't see it. It also makes framing harder to judge where it is. There's even more info in the latest build and it's taking up a lot of monitoring real estate. Thanks.

I'd like to start doing some 48p slo-mo testing for a feature I have in pre-production. The Toshiba 1066x card can do sustained 48p recording @ 1472x672 79MB/s. @ 1280x768 the data rate is slightly lower. Could someone please enable 1280x768 unsquashed recording. With a 1.5x anamorphic lens this produces 2.5:1 1080p slow motion, or 2k slo-mo with a 6.66% upscale.

Thinking to create a backup file (a few K), and if saving the footer fails, ML would delete the backup file and try again. In theory, this should succeed without knowing how much free space is left.

Good plan.

A mate of mine came around tonight with his spanky new MK3 and I spent like an hour trying to get ML running on it and every attempt failed. It had 1.1.3 on it but I even re-installed it, I tried reformatting cards, tried the pre raw alpha, everything I could possibly think of. The same cards all ran ML on my MK3. I'm perplexed. ??? He was devastated.   :'(
