240mhz with the new build and the old sd hack is working for me on eos M.
Anyone else have it working?

Quote from: anto on April 17, 2022, 12:04:22 AMWhat Build are you using? Make sure you're not shooting 30 FPS. Disable AF in Canon Menu or on lens. Disable FPS Override.
I bought again an EOS M but I can't find a way to work with it, only HD 1080 works, the other setting frtp are freeze, no preview, can't even record.
Quote from: 2blackbar on April 09, 2022, 05:32:36 PMTo fix that PINK HDMI screen: in ML tab 3, go to 'customized buttons', Disable x3 Crop Toggle and Focus Aid
Danne heres HDMI output when i record 2.8k in this new version, half of the screen is pink stripes
Quote from: Corallaro on January 25, 2022, 10:51:06 PMDon't record 720p as the results are very bad. 1080 or 5K FRTP should work fine with monitors, select 10 bit. With 2.5K HDMI it will have a small box on the left which is normal as this is showing the correct liveview rather than full liveview with a crop. Don't worry about the glitch at the bottom, as long as you can see the correct liveview framing it will be fine. I've been using this mode a lot.
At 2.5k frtp (that is a resolution that i use) the result as the same of Nibby99.
At this point i try to change something in Canon Menu as the language (i am italian) and video system from PAL to NTSC, and I also change the resolution of recorded video at 720p or less with strange results.
Quote from: Corallaro on January 20, 2022, 10:47:51 PMAt this point i will test the "crop_rec_4k_mlv_snd_raw_only_2021Feb04.EOSM202.zip"
Quote from: ctfire on August 05, 2021, 02:45:43 PMHaven't experienced this in a while.
try last build in 1080p, and only when sound off it's free of pink frame when sound is on footage get couple of pink frames, not many 3-4 for 4 minutes of footage.
Quote from: ilia3101 on February 09, 2021, 03:42:54 PMThank you I added the grain in FCPX that comes with it pre-loaded. I was surprised how well it worked. Yes from memory I did use the MLV App Film Effect loader. I used the Kodak Vis 3 one and set it to about 20%
How did you add the grain? Also did you use the MLV app film effect thing? Or a lut?
Quote from: IDA_ML on February 09, 2021, 09:00:50 AMThanks for sharing, I'll try to spend more time with this mode and see what I can pull out of the hat
The preset is called "5k anamorphic flv" and allows you to film at 1736x2928/16fps/12bit continuously. It is a full sensor readout mode meaning that the 1.6x Crop is referenced to the full frame sensor size. This mode works extremely well with the speed booster giving you only about 1.1x crop w.r.t. full frame - perfect if you like experimenting with fast prime lenses creating beautiful bokeh and shallow depth of field. In this case, you project the full frame vision onto a 1.6x croped aps-c sensor. As I said, if I want quality, this is my mode for landscape and portrait videography. Since there is no aliasing, image quality, even fine detail rendering, is superb - way better than the regular 1736x976/24fps mode.

1x1 pixel is as sharp as it gets. To call anamorphic not sharp isn't true imo. It's smooth, big difference. Anamorphic and 1x1 are the modes I could use for cinematic or even documentary filming.
