Still having troubles with movie crop mode. I'm using Danne's latest build.

First picture is what I see when filming in a 2.35 aspect ratio, in movie crop. Not crop rec




And this is the final image. Obviously it's cropped down to 2.35, but it's also shifted to the left slightly.




So what gives? Is this just how it is? Can I fix it? Thanks

I'm Using MLV APP 1.5 and the Feb 13th build

I've been trying to shoot with the mv1080 preset in x3 crop mode, but the framing in the preview is all wrong. It's squished and doesn't show the whole frame that's being recorded. When I view the file on my computer, it's fine. Just the preview that's messed up. Is this just how it is, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks

Edit: Seems the framing in regular movie crop mode is off too. Also I'm getting focus pixels in mv1080 crop, but not in movie crop.

Thanks for mv720p check. Will fix the framing preview later for this mode but it's preferred to use real time preview with high fps modes or even global draw off.
Ok, so let's try and clarify each preset:
- 2.5(x5) will work with framing and real time preview while recording and while idle. Real time will be cropped when halfshutter is pushed.
- 3k and 4k presets(x5) will work with framing and real time(cropped) while idle. When recording only framing works. Pushing halshutter will break preview while recording.
- 3x1 4k and 3x1 5k (x5). Only framing works. Pushing halfshutter breaks preview.
-mv1080p(3×3) same as 2.5k
-45, 46, 48, 50fps mv1080p and mv720p works same as 2.5k(first preset).
-5k anamorphic. Default works as 3k, 4k but 2.35:1 and 16:9 works as 2.5k(first preset)

Hi everyone. I've been thinking about purchasing the eos m to use in crop mode with c mount lenses for a long time, but the wonky live view always deterred me. It seems from Danne's post that this is fixed now. Is that right? Is there a real time, correctly framed live view in the 5x crop mode now? Thanks
