The likely culprit is my GPU only has 8GB ram, meaning it's not technically supported. Apparently, if I had gone for the 16GB model, I'd be good to go.

Since I only need an editor to cut my demo reel, I'll probably just look into Lightworks or some other free editor to get out from under Adobe's grasp for this rarely needed software. Next time I upgrade my laptop, I'll keep that in mind though. I feel like this could become my go to editor in the future.

Still very weird that fusion can view it, but my guess is that's a more basic viewer than what you have on the editor and color windows.

I just installed Resolve 15 for the first time. When I load in any kind of footage; still jpg, mov files, sequences, nothing will display in any viewer except in fusion.

I can see the thumbnails in the Media Pool and in the timeline, but no video displays in either preview or the main viewer.

This seems to be a problem in every module except fusion, where I can view the image in the viewer just fine.

Sound seems to work fine, this just seems to affect video in all but the fusion viewers.

The first image is the edit mode, the second is viewing the same timeline in fusion mode.

Any help greatly appreciated.
