In the old, analogue days  for this purpose we used to take so called spacer rings, which had the advantage of fitting tight between the camera and lens, thus avoiding any risk of dust. Which nowadays with its sensible digital sensors is higher than ever.

Hi everybody, I am very pleased with ML and thankful to its developers who created such a powerful tool, which is, still at least, free of charge. There is only one thing that needs imho to be improved: Canon's EOS M provides a special night shot modus which allows to take pictures without having to use a  tripod. Unfortunately, as I learned last night, this feature doesnt seem to be supported  by ML. Am I right or do I simply overlook a thing? Thanks

Hi, Bob, I am droogy from Berlin, Germany, and also very much interested in doing time lapse with my newly aquainted Canon EOS M. Hope you made some progress in the field since may. Am I right that Time lapse photos after shooting have to be "developed" to a movie to make them visible? It would be nice If you shared your experience with me. Greetings: droogy

learned about ML and its fascinating features only some weeks ago. As my EOS 40D cant take advantage of ML, I got me a 2nd hand EOS M, installed ML and it works just marvellously with some older non-af Pentax and Nikon lenses. Still hesitating to put on the original Canon kit lens though as there might  the "eos m shutter bug"  be still around...

Hi there, just installed the latest version of ML successfully on my EOS M. Use it with a non-AF Nikkor f 2,8/28mm lens. Works just fine. The only thing puzzling me is the temperature. Camera gets warm in a hurry. Shows 41 C just after a few shots. Then "-60 Celsius". Is there a danger to the camera's electronics?
