@a1ex
The newest version of the ROM Dumper works perfectly on the 600D. I've PM'd you the ROM0 and ROM1 files. Thanks.

@a1ex
PM sent with ROM0.bin. Unfortunately ROM Dumper is stuck on dumping ROM1.bin.

@Danne
Thank you for the help!

Thanks for your help, Alex. Unfortunately I formatted both cards in hope that updating the ML firmware on the card would fix it. I didn't think to make a backup.  :(

My Problem: Camera does not turn on. When camera is turned on, the red led blinks once. It seems to be some sort of issue loading the firmware. Hopefully will not have to replace the motherboard as all the hardware seems to be functional.
My issue is almost exactly the same as this person's: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=16487.0

My attempts at solving the problem:

  • Try starting camera with no sd card: LED does not blink at all. Screen does not turn on. No signs of life
  • Try starting camera with different ML card: LED blinks once but otherwise nothing happens.
  • Run the Magic Lantern Rescue utility: http://i.imgur.com/IupUgPx.jpg?1
  • Run the LED Blink test: LED blinks repeatedly indicating that camera is alive and loads bootloader

What I was doing before problems started: I was viewing images in the camera gallery when the camera suddenly started freezing up and the led started blinking rapidly. I shut off the camera and upon turning it back on, it was behaving normally. Now a week later, the camera is refusing to turn on.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Did you get your issue resolved? I am having the exact same problem on a 600D (Rebel T3i).

I've run the diagnostic tool and have attached a pic of the screen. The tool runs fine, but when the regular autoexec.bin is replaced, the screen is blank when turned on. The red led on the bottom right blinks once every time I open card door or insert battery.

Thanks for your help.
