About to start shooting nothing but Magic Lantern Raw With Canon 6D's MultiCam!

Hello. I don't know why but I did not get any alerts about replys to my thread. It must be the settings.
The thing what is was is I had had older files on the card from another shoot and forgot to erase them really via the computer and when on location I filled up one card and had switched to another with magic lantern which had the older shoots files on it and I reformatted the card saving magic lantern but then started to record my first scene but after finished and tried to start another scene a "card unreadable or something about restarting the camera" if you find it an error or something was popping up on the screen but pretty much I could not record anything even disabling mlv raw and playback and everything i could not use the card without reformatting with no "Q to keep" magic lantern option. If I would have had a laptop on location I could have re put magic lantern back on and wait for the modules to boot cause it always takes a while after reformatting and shot raw more!!!!

This happen twice to me on another shoot that was very important but winded up loosing all those files after spending a whole day learnign data recovery the files would just play a little audio then a high pitch sound with no video after recovery.

Im still learning though

Nice but I think just regular magic lantern .mlv raw looks better. Haven't tried dual iso yet.
I did just do a music video with magic lantern raw and it looks pretty solid!! search youtube for "The Artist 1L Boss Up on the PaperHustlesTV channel

Just showing off my halfway successful Magic Lantern 14bit Raw .mlv shoot. The card failed on me and I had to reformat on location and couldnt shoot the second half of the video raw but after a lot of trial and error I know now why the card fails some of the time and have to do a reformat causing the magic lantern to be erased on location.

Raw Video / Canon 6D Raw Video Noise Moire and artifacts
February 08, 2016, 11:45:29 PM
My SD card on my Canon 6D can record at 1280x720 30fps but when I scale it up which is to 133% in premiere I get more noise, moire & artifact issues. is this normal? Does it have something to do with the 60fps moire issues it have since im recording in the same frame size? Should I just record on the 960x420 I think it is then upscale?

Also is it me or does MLV raw 1.0 work better then 2.0 beside the fact that you can record audio?

I to was wondering about this. My SD card on my 6D can record raw video at 1280x720 with no dropped frames but when I scale it up I notice more noise, moire and artifacts get introduced when only shooting at 30fps even though I know the 720 s very bad with the moire.

Share Your Videos / Re: Neat Video tests on RAW footage

Hmm. Just doing some reading as I shot a raw video and it turned out with a lot of noise after converting it.
My question is about work flow... Neat video does work good but it takes to long to render and I am good at Adobe Camera Raw. Which is the best workflow for say music videos.
Im going to learn Davinci before trying or buying it but is it really better then After Effects or can really both achieve good results.
Just wondering also when people denoise say using neat video, then color correct and sharpen (using unsharpened mask I presume) do people usually export that out into a uncompressed video format, then start editing? I always use dynamic link since i have already chopped up multiple sequences into one using multi cam applying neat video on each prepared sequenced scene.
Is that why my renders take so long? Is there a easier way beside im sure the not working way like adding one instance of neat video over the main sequence in a adjustment layer or something.

Just wondering was this test ever completed for the Canon 6D sensor?
