I've been a little out of touch with new advancements in ML, so i tried the latest uhs.mo improvements and was surprised with my "old" Sandisk extreme Pro 300mbs uhs-II that hits 80mb/s write speed @192mhz. With the previous version of uhs.mo the card was almost useless for raw video recording, but now im just so happy and still trying to figure out the new crop and binning records.
For now i'll be stuck with "normal" resolutions 1736x976, that looks incredible and gave new life to my 700D.

The benchmark was in photo mode.

The depht of field is very large, if you saw the first second there is a bird that fly up in the image and is totally recognizable, so a Sattellite or meteorite should be look more sharp, not fainted or "out of focus" look.
Anyway, today i was recording the moon...again...and notice something when some clouds pass in front of the moon. The clouds leave a sort of trail with little vapour dots that look identical to the one that i record in the video posted: fainted, blurry, "out of focus"...so, for me the mistery is solved.

Hi!, i just wanna know if anyone can help with the video that i record last night on the supermoon.
The equipment used was a Canon Ti5, canon 70-200 F4L + Canon Extender 1.4x + Canon Extender 2.0x.
Obviously i used Magic Lantern with 3x crop and custom white balance.

The first part of the video is the original and aprox at 14sec you can see a fainted shadow crossing from the upper-left
in diagonal to the center of the image.

The second part of the video is a 200% upscaled.
The third part of the video is a 200% upscaled and 50% slow down with optical flow in premiere.
The fourth part of the video is a 400% upscaled, 50% slow down with optical flow in premiere and with an added circle tracking the shadow.
The fifth part of the video is a 400% upscaled, 25% slow down with optical flow in premiere and with an added circle tracking the shadow. 


Any thoughts?

-SD Speed hack (69mb write on my Sandisk Extreme pro)
-RAW VIDEO 14 BIT LOSSLESS at 16:9
-Crop video

Open files with MLVProducer, then imported to Adobe Premiere

Yeah, it might be scam or might be not, but i think that he is pointing to the "Nostalgia" feeling, to the weekend photographer, even if the camera couldn't give the better images or the technical difficulties inherent in old technology, i guess they would love to use their antique cameras with new technology in it...if the price is right...$150 or $200...who knows.
Anyway, i don't know if i would buy it either but consider the idea interesting. 

I was reading about a proyect called PSEUDO, that is trying to convert any analog 35mm film camera into a digital one.
I thought, besides the challenge of doing it, it's a great idea if they can achieve their goal.

This will give you about 3:1 magnification and therefore an effective aperture of about
(m + 1) * f = (3 + 1) * 14 = 56
If you go pixelpeeping you will find some amount of softness caused by diffraction. If you want to use your shots in larger format and want to preserve detail you might want to use smaller aperture numbers.
Not a problem with smaller representations like the one shown above.
