Greetings to all members. Im new here and this is my first post/reply. I got 70D since half year and now i wanna try the ML sensation.  Im not lazy to read the all 47 pages of this tread, but mostly members are just complaning and reporting the bugs. I saw some short video how to uninstall the ML, which leads me to my question. It is true possible to uninstall the ML in case i don't like it. I just wanna try the famous RAW video before i bring my conto in minus and buy GH4.

P.S. I like to ask a favor for the OP to refresh tiny the first post with more info, snapsots... links of videos how to install, menu setup for us (read:noobs)... e.t.c.

Welcome to the forum! You can uninstall ML. By formatting the card within the Canon menu. Pressing 'Q' will keep or remove ML.

Can't reproduce on 70D.111A. Neither in LV nor Movie Mode. You got B? If so anybody else can confirm?

Got version B. Works fine in photo and video mode.

7d is weather sealed and highly maintained. 700d wouldn't be a bad choice either far cheaper

Just started using  version 111B, all going well so far.

First (probably obvious) question: how do you get ML menu to stay on without switching back to LV screen after a few seconds? I could not find a setting for this.

Pressing info on canon menu then switching to ML, worked for me.

Somewhere in the 40' while making those packages, screen went black and it shuts down by its own. No extra modules where installed. Just Plain alpha5

   Apporx' 30secs after startup, in Still Mode, the Red Activity LED starts Flashing every 4secs. If startup is done in Vid' Mode this dose not happen ~

And the same thing that was said about not pressing "Q" for +/- 5 seconds that ML menu disappears.
