Can someone please point me to information on procedure to fix null pointer bug from April 4 build. Screen alert on camera indicates to prepare logs and go to freenode on IRC - what happens from there? Sorry, unfamiliar with all this.

I have the null pointer bug warning coming up with April 21 build. Message says to contact ML developers on IRC Magic Lantern freenode. Tried but not sure I was at correct place to do this - Alex can you supply URL please. Unfortunately don't have old logs.

Ran ML April 10 4K test my 5D mk3 and is indicating the problem of null pointer bug from April 4 ML 4K experimental. Reverted to latest nightly 1.2.3 2017-3-30 build which seems to work fine. Casual user of ML & not sure if I need to do anything to address potential bug?

What resolution are your videos, and what resolution is your display? Do they have a different aspect ratio? Are they clipped on the sides, or top/bottom?

Thanks Baldand great program. I've noticed full screen toggle seems to be cropping the image.

Full screen is mode is cropping the image & log does seem excessively bright.  Great app though! 

Yesterday I went out and did some test. To be honest, it was a terrible day (windy and cloudy) I didn't have any luck getting the shots that I was looking for to share. Nevertheless, whilst post processing my shabby shots, I came across a few takes that were green/black and the rest were fine.

Also getting some clips with dark green/black images with march 17 build but most ok.. big bug in there somewhere :0

Alpha 3 generally working well but there seems to be an issue with changing ISO while waveform monitor is turned on -
camera crashes every time.

550D & 5D3

Alpha 2 is generally great but noticed green bars in magic zoom don't seem to be working.

Perhaps a little patience and appreciation for the all hard work Alex & others have put into ML would be more constructive than pestering for features that are beyond the hardware capabilities of current Canon DSLRs.

I would be very grateful to eventually have ML 2.3 features working on the mk3.

The HDR is VERY impressive!!

I would be happy to have ML working with either card option - whichever works best. It will very difficult to please everyone in this regard so perhaps stability and function should be the overriding factor.

MJPEG 422... very exciting prospect! Hope it's possible.

We have a 5D3 now and start on that since the 650D/t4i requires a firmware update to get started.

I'd be very happy to donate again if there was a specific fund set up to develop ML for Mk 3.
The Mk 3 has some great improvements over Mk 2 but the ML features in v. 2.3 would really bring it up to a new level.
Hope there's some more news on this soon.
