Hello,

Finally I got my Sandisk 95MB/S UHS-I V30 64 GB card and uhs overlock just work fine on 700D. However I have two problems. Sorry for long post.

One problem is with the H264 proxy ON mode. If I am right it should be record without any problem. (both MLV and proxy at the same time)
I tried different methods, like lowering CBR bitrate to 0.1x or trying different compression MLV modes but I can only record with some frames and Ml stops recording and writing some lines on liveview. Should I make a video of it to identify the problem or I forgot to set up something?

The second problem is with 60 fps/50 fps record. (I tried both)

On ML experimental page I see this post (at loseless compression build that I have, of course the latest one):

EOSM, 650D, 700D, 100D:
"1736x696 @ 50/60p with 3x3 pixel binning (actually column binning / line skipping)"

What I have done is to enable uhs overlock, set 1280x720 60 fps in Canon menu, then turn MLV raw video ON. As I started to record I relized the card does not go up to +60mb/s like it supposed to be (the 700D records great +60mb/s with overlock ON at normal 24 fps) but it seems like something is going on with 60 fps/50fps.

Should I change anything else to get contin. record?
On ML page it says "1736x696 @ 50/60p with 3x3 pixel binning" but I only get some frames and record stops.
Is there a setting for pixel binning that I have to change or I forgot something else?

Thank you for your help!

Have a good day!

@Danne Could you make me a build for 700D? I want to test it. Thank you.

Raw Video Postprocessing / Log vs not Log in ACR profile
September 08, 2017, 11:10:53 PM
Hello guys.

I process my cdng raw seqences in after effects via ACR.
Does it make sense (I mean any improvement in DR or something) if I put them first in Log flat profile (for eg. Visioncolor profile in ACR) and grade it after that in ACR?

If so, what if I apply the log profile leave the acr setting untouched, save it in uncompressed avi and grade it in Premiere lumetri (What i really like the most)

Thank you for the answer(s).

I tried it with lossness jpeg files, but seems to be the program not support it yet.

sorry for the bump but don't want to create a new thread for a single question.

would this work with my 5v power bank to get 7v? is it safe? http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-DC-5V-to-DC-6V-12-5V-Adjustable-output-Step-up-Power-Supply-Module-Converter-/281550409630?hash=item418db64f9e:g:MPwAAOSwbYZXbNCn

please answer! thank you

oh i forgot that! thank you, problem solved!

I tried it and it brings back but still I can't see the picture I've taken after pressing the shutter. Never had this kind of problem with FRSP before..

I have some kind of problem with the full res silent pic module. It worked well before, I also used it for silent pic timelapse with the appropriate intervals, but today something happened. I haven't figured out yet, maybe you can help.

Cam: 700D 18-55 STM kit fw: latest 1.1.4
ML build: latest 02 July 2015
Settings: Manual Mode, 1/10, apr: around 3.5 iso: 100

When I start to make full-res silent pic (tried both MLV and DNG) nothing happening, it seems to be the cam is shutting down.
When I view it after the reboot in Pic Viewer it shows the actual picture.

What is the problem? I haven't modified any changes in power save module (default)

Modules on: MLV rec, Fullres Pic, File Manager, Pic viewer

And of course I shot in liveview.

side note: No crash file on the card after I taken the shot.

Thanks for the help!

I still get framedrops, how can I fix that?
#10
is it possible to shoot Dual ISO images with FRSP currently? (and in intervalometer mode).

try MLVMystic, you can find it on the forum. (MLRawViewer also able to do that, but for me it crashed several times at large amount of dngs)

General Chat / raw2cdng VS MlRawviewer method
March 12, 2015, 07:38:39 PM
I know the raw2cdng able to make 16 bit files, and process twice large shots than the MLRawviewer.
Both of them are awesome, but I can't see any quality difference between them (the saved sequence).
Are there any, if so what are the main ones?
#14
thanks for the explanation JADURCA now I get it!
#15
I maybe missed it but does the newest nightly builds include full-res silent pic module and SMR memory? thanks
#16
JADURCA, what are your project settings in Vegas? (framerate, etc)

General Help Q&A / Video light as internal flash
December 28, 2014, 09:42:11 PM
Might be a dumb idea, but is it possible the use a Canon camera's internal flash as a video LED light (I mean continous lighting)?
Also, it is possible with ML?

good one, but that's the problem with av mode. next time you should use ettr and a decent deflicker, like newblue flash remover pro. ;)

i turned the tweak off and the frame jump really pops up. fixing that somehow (locking?) might be solve the problem.

700D 2014 July 17 build with full-res sp.
Recording regular mov (mlv/raw shows fine) global draw liveview activated (and that's what i'm in), but nothing else turned on (focus peak off, etc.)
1920x1080 24 fps
Movie tweaks: time indicator (elapsed time turned on), that is what the flickering caused. the elapsed time appear for 1-2 sec on the top right corner than suddenly disappear, than after 1-2 sec it shows again. It's kinda annoying for me.

when I record video in global draw mode the time indicator keeps flickering and I can't see the elapsed time. Is there a fix for that?
