thats the thing, Im pretty sure it was 1/48 since I shot it in 24fps. Maybe it would have been  better to shoot it in 1/50 and 25 fps then.

Thanks for the response!

Just wondering if this is a RAW Post processing thing or some interference going on with the lights, I hope you guys can help me out. Its really visible in the exported file, on vimeo a bit less. But you should notice it definately on 2:45 in the background:

I used to extract the DNG's with RAWMagic, 12 bit, vertical stripes checked, auto black lvl. Its the same with 16 bit.
Its not really visible in the proress files I got out of DaVinci after applying VisionLog, but when I start grading it it becomes visible. I chose a very flat look, since more contrast makes it worse (and flat was what the client wanted anyway).

For me this app would be perfect if it came with a more standard decent UI. Where I could transcode a bunch of MLV's directly to prores based on one whitebalance correction etc.

I just shot a music clip with lots of slomo. But I see that its a lot noisier than normal raw footage. especially in darker shots its almost unworkable with some kind of fixed noise pattern.

I've tried the davinci stuff and I like it.

My workflow now is: in Davinci go to cinelog with a lut and export it to prores (4444), then in premiere I go back from cinelog to c-log (alexa one) and apply film convert where I choose for the alexa c-log option as well.

My colors seem a bit harsh like this right out of the box, nothing that can be fixed though.
I was wondering if this is a good workflow. Isn't it better to go directly to c-log in davinci?

Problem with that workflow is, it is painfully slow. I wish the pink cast issue will be fixed in premiere.

I see this app also fixes the pink cast in premiere cc. Is there no mac version of this program?

any updates on this? Is there a way to get rid of the pink issue in premiere?

Raw Video / No audio in MLV? (canon 5d mk3)
April 07, 2014, 10:42:00 PM
I just made some shots on the canon 5d mk3 with the MLV Module. Now im viewing them on my macbook with mlrawviewer, but I can't hear any sound. When I export them to prores there is also no sound. I see that there is an option to enable sound for mlv on the 5d mk2, but I can't find such an option on the 5d mk3?

am I missing something?
