Crash Report:

Just finished shooting some RAW footage .RAW and I disabled the RAW module and started to shoot footage and the camera crashed.  I will try to recreate.  Here is the log.

I'm trying to find a solution to display correctly ML overlays on my Lilliput HDMI screen with no mirroring.

Full screen 16:9 image without any overlays :

Screen with ML overlays:

Screen with Canon options:

As you can see ML top and bottom bars are not displayed properly. I think screen width and height are set to wrong values. I was trying to change settings in Display-> Advanced Settings > Screen Layout but it's not a solution. I think top and bottom bar should be resized to fit 16:9 image and placed above and below cropped 16:9 image. Is there a possibility to add new screen layout to ML configuration? I can do it myself but I need a little hint ;)

I'm having the same problem. Please let me know if you find a fix or a way I can solve this myself.

Please let me know if this is not the right place to report this problem.

Not a major problem. It has to do with the crop marks. Global Draw (I've tried all modes) is on and when I turn Cropmarks off the Cropmarks remain on my monitor. If I turn the camera off and back on the Cropmarks are gone. I've repeated this several times and I get the same thing. This only happens when I have the HDMI frame rate from the camera to the monitor set at 60i.

If the HDMI out is set to 24p then the Cropmarks turn on and off when they are supposed to, but they do not fill the monitor.

Same here on 30th build , gone back to 17th - more stable on raw and mlv.
Highest recorded temp is 48 after two minutes continuous record RAW, is every one else getting similar temps ?

I'm getting similar temperatures, which is making me a little nervous.  I haven't had the camera shut down on me, but does anyone know what temp one would expect the camera to shut down?  It's definitely outside the specified operating temperature.

It is really difficult to use these forums because of the snide remarks and I see them all the time:

("I have AJA Kona LHi with my 10bit grading monitor since version 10.04 . So you should exactly get Info right please.")

I CLEARLY stated that I haven't looked at Final Cut Pro X since its release and CLEARLY stated that one of the reasons I didn't upgrade was because upon its release it didn't output to professional monitors which made it an unprofessional solution, which is factual. I also CLEARLY stated that I need help with Final Cut Pro 7. I will definitely take a look at X again and see if it can provide me with everything I need.

We, I think, use these forums to educate and help each other. I hope I can find that education and help here in the future.

Thank you for the information about Final Cut Pro 7. It was very helpful.

I am just beginning to work with RAW video with my 5D Mark III and after doing a google search I have the same question.  I know I can use Final Cut Pro 7 with RAW files, but how?  And before anyone asks why I'm not using Final Cut X, it's because when it was released it was kinda crap and not very professional (for example I couldn't use it with my professional monitor to do color correction because it wouldn't output to my professional monitor).  Now this may have changed since it's release, but I haven't looked at it since.  Any help would be appreciated on HOW I can use Final Cut Pro 7 with RAW files.
