raw - more color bit
dual iso - better dynamic range

But aren't these 2 quite similar? I'm not sure what to shoot with my mk2 and I can't find a thread that explains in a few sentences what they exactly do.

First you hear 2 focus (?) sounds and then the shutter starts going. Is this normal? my camera has always been doing this.

Raw Video Postprocessing / Fairly new to RAW processing
October 15, 2014, 01:39:05 AM
Hi,

I have made 2 clips with mlv clips and I'm skeptical about my workflow.
Here is how I worked:
1. extract mlv to dng's with raw2cdng
2. color correct the dng files in after effects cc (acr and color finesse touching)
3. dynamic link to premiere pro cc and cut/edit the files into a video
4. color grade with premiere pro cc
5. export - done

I hear a lot of people use davinci resolve. Do you color correct and grade all of the footage before editing them? Don't you waste a lot of time grading footage you won't end up using? The export of all the clips will also take a lot of time, no? why do people keep using this program if it takes way much more time than my workflow.

Don't get me wrong, I'm always seeking for better workflows and I hope someone can convince me to use davinci because grading in premiere pro cc isn't that fantastic. But it does get the job done, fast.

I'm doubting whether to buy a 128gb 1050x KB or a 64gb KB. I read the 64 ones are faster in general.

How many minutes can you shoot on a 64 gb card ?

Thanks for your reply.

Some questions I still have - what does proxies do? I click on create proxy but nothing happen. Second, mind making a video of the steps using this programme? my footage right now looks crap, I am sure something went wrong in the workflow.
