As far as those errors--are you using the modules from the modules download page? If so, it needs to be run on one of the experimental builds.

My mistake. Thanks! :)

Have you run sanity check on this issue? "Why and what for do I need those modules to run on my cam?".

Curiosity more than anything else.

Honestly, I don't know what to do with the adtg_gui.mo module. As mentioned, I have a 550D (1.0.9). When I turn on "ENGIO Registers", I see there are 12 unidentified registers. Really, there are 6 because in "Advanced" every two rows are equal in key and value. I also see a status that says "12 uniq / [growing number]". Lastly, when the camera sleeps, "ADTG Registers" turns off.

Hi, help! receive error when enable modules adtg_gui.mo and raw_diag.mo on the camera 6d(1.1.6)

adtg_gui.mo
tcc: error: undefined symbol "unpatch_memory"
tcc: error: undefined symbol "patch_hook_function"
[E] failer to link modules

raw_diag.mo
Wrong version (v7.0, expected v6.0)

I have the same issue but for 550D (magiclantern-Nightly.2018Jul03.550D109.zip). A comment says that dfort has it bundled in his builds but I see magiclantern-Nightly.2018Jul04.550D110.zip and I am currently on firmware 1.0.9. Not all Canon websites contain firmware 1.1.0. Is it a regional thing, or is it okay to upgrade in order to use dfort's build? Please advise. Thanks!

General Help Q&A / Image review settings
August 02, 2015, 09:45:08 PM
Hello All, I have trouble activating Play mode actions and Image Review. Must be missing something. I'm using 550D.

I checked this feature again after updating ML. It works now :D.

General Help Q&A / Switching between Multiple Configs
February 12, 2015, 12:04:48 AM
Hello All, There's an old feature request that piques my interest: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=1546. I am wondering if there's that feature (In particular, the first question.) now that it's 2015.

Due to my disability, it would be great if I could easily change ML (via config files) to suit various conditions instead of taking the time and concentration to remember which settings to turn off and on when the scene changes.

Thanks.

Thanks A1ex, The reason for my query is that I feel like my settings are arbitrary. I would like to set things with more precision and confidence, getting a desired result without having to wrestle with the parameters too much. E.g. apply 10% highlight and 5% shadow recovery. It's meant to save time after all and I don't think it's doing that for me at the moment ::)

Hello A1ex, How would you determine the level settings? I set highlight_level and midtone_level to the max of my photo set, and shadow_level to the min. I haven't verified this but the max seems to correspond to -NormalWhiteLevel and/or -SpecularWhiteLevel. highlight_level and midtone_level are the same in your script; I did the same for my settings.

Edit: made concise.

Hello A1ex, uniform_exposure.py doesn't work after I install ufraw-mod with build_lin.sh. Terminal gets grumpy: "convert.im6: no images defined `histogram:info:-' @ error/convert.c/ConvertImageCommand/3044." I don't know much about this stuff; however, ufraw-batch seems to work fine by itself but imagemagick doesn't seem to agree with the pipe.
